Ok, well you know how on Apple Mac computers people just basically control their computers with their keyboard

There being thousands of keyboard shortcuts for everything...

And you can’t do this on windows... wrong

Now everybody knows about those shutdown shortcuts on where thousands of people have made eggs on the very same thing calling it a virus cause there the world’s biggest noobs.

The just make a new shortcut and have the shortcut location as such...

Shutdown; shutdown -s -t 0
Restart: shutdown -r -t 0
Logoff: shutdown -l -t 0
Hibernate: rundll32.exe PowrProf.dll, SetSuspendState Hibernate

The “–t 0” stands for “time” and “# amount of seconds”

Now if you just right click and select properties



Under the shortcut tab click on shortcut key



Now because on macs you Press “Apple key –Shift –Q” to log of that’s what my shortcut will be...



Click ok

You can do this for shutdown restart log off etc..

Think up a few...

You could even make a .bat file doing some sort of operation then link a shortcut to it and make a shortcut key for it so you can to do something really quickly.

Like...

@echo off
echo Don’t forget to go on rotteneggs for 11 hours a day!
pause
dir c:\\windows

Or

START /MAX NOTEPAD
/
START /MAX C:\\Windows\\NOTEPAD.EXE

Etc..


Now you know those other mac features like,

The Alt-Tab application switching screen. (windows has this but I mean come on...its shit,)
Expose
Dock

That make life that much easier...??

You can make it look different, thats not the only setting




Reflex visions (expose)



Rocket Dock



Or Object dock




I realise this isn’t the world’s best egg i just made it for the sake of making an egg, i realise this is noobish but did you ever think of using it in this way...

Nice lookin themes on vista man, I used to use rocket dock and object dock but it went past practical.
