Ok this is fairly simple
Click on an empty space on your toolbar
Right click, select toolbars then select new toolbar
Type in a webpage and click ok
Now you will see in your toolbar the title of your webpage
Now make sure “lock the taskbar” isn’t ticked by right clicking on a blank space on the toolbar
Drag your toolbar up and the edge of where it says “your webpage” out
Now…
“Oh no a someones coming”
You can either...
Simply drag it all the way sidewyas and down and it should look like this
Or for it to not be there completely...
Right click – Toolbars – Unselect your webpage
Empty taskbar
Then simply right click again, toolbars and select your webpage
And you can continue browsing the internet, without onlookers knowing...
Another way,
*Set your computer up so it looks like you’re doing work with nothing stupid down on the taskbar etc.
*Take a screenshot
*Set the taskbar to auto hide
*And set the screenshot as your background..
*Whenever someone walks by to check what your doing stop working minimize all windows
*sit back and look like your reading over what you just wrote
Dec 21, 2007 7:44 am - I firefox, open two tabs, one with like google, and the other with the site you want to hide. When someones coming type "ctrl+w" and google will be the only page left open
Dec 22, 2007 12:59 am - you could also download this program called DoubleDesktop
you press a shortcut on your keyboard and it hides everything you have open and switches to another "desktop" where you can have different programs open...read about it on google or something
Jan 14, 2008 12:41 pm - i did the second technique to the computers at school, i took a screen shot of the background and set that as the background while hiding the real icons and the taskbar, the next people to use the computer were completely confused by it.
