Hello again everyone! It’s been a long time since I’ve written an egg and when I discovered these cool cell phone "secrets" the other day, I decided it was time for another one. I found out most of these from my friend and when I looked it up, I came across some others. I wrote this myself and saw nothing similar to it in the directory. Well here it goes!
For these to work you will need:
-A cell phone
-Fingers
Now on to the egg!
1) Emergency Anywhere! To contact Emergency Services anywhere in the world, call 211. This will work even if you’re out of network or don’t have any service. What this does is search for any existing network to establish the emergency number for you. This number can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.
2) Lock the keys in your car? Most cars today have remote "keyless" entry (the button that unlocks your car). If you lock your keys in the car and the spare is at home with someone, call them on their cell phone! Hold your phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your house press the unlock button, holding it near their phone. Your car will unlock. It doesn’t matter how far away you are!
3) Reserve Battery Power If you have little or no battery left you can replenish 50% of it!. To activate it, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this extra boost. The reserve will get replenished when you charge your cell next time.
5) Free 411! Everyone knows 411 can be ridiculously expensive to find out a number. When you need to use 411, call (800)-FREE-411, or (800)-373-3411. Unfortunately there are a bunch of commercials in the beginning since it is, after all, free.

Dec 23, 2007 2:11 am - To Phil, even if the cell phone unlocker worked, which it doesn’t, you couldn’t record it because the keys send a different signal each time it transmits. The signal changes in a pattern and must match that of the reciever in the car to unlock the door.
Don’t quote me on that, i read it somewhere...
Dec 23, 2007 7:00 am - I have an LG Chocolate unfortunately. I tried all of these out and they all worked fine for me so maybe they just don’t work on some phones. I also used my friends EnV and they worked.
Dec 23, 2007 2:42 pm - 1. I don’t think you can call if there is no service, 911 should work on all networks because it is a emergency number. It just doesn’t make sense to me that it should work.
2. Never tried it, but many other people have tried it saying it doesn’t work.
3. Tried it on an old Nokia, a Motorola Razr, a Samsung phone (didn’t know the model). The Samsung made a funny beeping noise but that was it. Nothing else happened with the others.
Dec 23, 2007 5:18 pm - the car unlocker does work only if you have the remote key so its pretty pointless.The emergency number also works without a sim card or when the keypad is locked the reserve battery only works on certain phones though. 4*
