Hey, I have a good way on how to make a good fuse.
(Ok, first if you get hurt doing this its your fault not mine. Second, if this is someone else’s Egg I didn’t Copy off you and I am sorry. I thought this up on my own. )
Parts
1. Pipe cleaners(The stuff for arts and crafts)
2. Gunpowder(Loose powder would be the best, but anything from Sparklers to Model rocket engines. Basically anything that has gunpowder in it.)(Duh lol)
3. A Mixing cup(Something like that just nice and small)(I used a Glass cup) And a really small one too.
4. A paper plate
5. A paint brush(Small)
6. Rubbing Alcohol and Water(And something really small to mix it in)
7. A Spoon(Probably not plastic)
Instructions
(This is going to get messy so put something down to eliminate the mess.)
1. First, if you have loose Powder you can skip this part, if not read on. Make your Gunpowder thing in to gun powder.(I got my dad’s Muzzleloader gunpowder pellets)
2. Now Take your Rubbing Alcohol and Water and the small mixing cup and add more Rubbing Alcohol in the cup then water.
3. Next get your loose powder and put in to the other mixing cup.
4. Now, get your Rubbing Alcohol mix and pour it in to the loose powder. Not to much put enough to make it wet. Then stir it around.(In my pic I put in a little to much , but it still works good.)
5. Ok, get your pipe cleaners and get them wet with as much Powder/mix as you can.Till they are completely black with the Powder/mix.
6. Finally, let your fuses dry on the paper plate. (They have to be completely dried out to work.)(Like over night)
Dec 25, 2007 11:39 pm - Older than old.... Ive noticed alot of people have began reposting basic pyrotechnical eggs.... Fuse is cheaper than cheap and can be ordered off the internet.. Not 2 bad tho, 4.
Dec 25, 2007 11:40 pm - 4got 2 mention... you should never use this for anything that has much of a blast to it, its got a very unreliable burn rate and sparks quite a bit...
