Okay. Well, first off, I would like to say that if this is an actual magic trick, I am sorry for exposure. I had figured this out by myself one day when I was bored and started doing it at school, when a friend told me that it was a magic trick already or something like that. But, enjoy anyways.
The Nickel through Water Bottle Trick

Materials:
- 2 Nickels
- Water bottle with a flat bottom (prefferably with rivits too)
- A good sense of angles.
The Performance:

The magician takes a water bottle. Clearly shown empty. Then, he pulls a nickel from his pocket. Shows the nickel. Then he explains that sometimes science can be manipulated if you can focus on a certain spot with enough energy. Just then, he takes the nickel and puts it against the side of the bottle. Instantly, he pulls his empty hands away, showing that the nickel is now inside the water bottle which was EMPTY!
How can you do this you may be asking?
Explanation:

Take you water bottle.
Then, take your first nickel. Drop it in the water bottle. Then try getting it to stand up against the side of the water bottle, like so
Then, twist it around and around
Once you have twisted the bottle around till you cant see it, vwala
Okay, now plant a nickel in your pocket. When you rub the nickel on the side, try releasing it from your fingers and letting it land in a palming position (a position where u can hold it in your hand without having your fingers or thumb touching it basically). When they see the melted through nickel, hand it to them while hiding the nickel, and when their eyes are fixed on the bottle ditch the nickel in your pocket or in the nearest animal’s anus. (Calm down I was kidding).
Tips:
--------------------------------
-Be sure to get your angles down right. What may seem like it is in the light angle-trick may not look the same to your audience.
-Try not to show it to a wide angle of audience. Try 1-2 people right in front of you for an astonishing effect.
-Dont perform it twice or they will run around and try to figure it out (one of the first rules of performing a trick anyways)
-Rivets help the nickel stand up
-You can perform this with a penny, dime, and a nickel. Maybe a quarter too if you find a way to get it in there. I do not recommend trying this with a dollar bill, however.
Jan 04, 2008 10:30 pm - Three stars, I’m impressed that you figured this out yourself, but this trick already existed, and magic tricks aren’t very spectacular if everyone with a computer knows how to do them.
