Salvia Divinorm is a plant from the mint family that has been used for centuries by the Meztec Indian Shamans in the isolated mountainous regions of Mexico. What is great about this magic mint is that it is legal in most states, although it is fast becoming put under a controlled substance and scedualed status.
This is due to Salvia’s hallucinogenic effects. The active chemical agent in the plant is called Salvinorum. I read somewhere that it is the most powerful naturally occuring hallucinogin yet i am unsure of this.
Anyway, this is a simple recipe on how to buy cheap dried salvia1x leaves and make them stronger.
Things that you need;
1.)A big bag of dried salvia leaves
2.)A tin jug of DENATURED ALCOHOL
WARNINGDenatured Alcohol, wich u can buy @ any hardware store IS EXTREAMLY POISONOUS AND THE VAPORS ARE HARMFUL This isn’t the alcohol that you drink, if you drink it you will go blind or die.
3.)A stoneware jug, or any sealed glass container
4.)A glass or ceramic casserole dish that can withstand high temperatures. (Or any PYREX container)
3.)A 1/2 cup measuring cup
4.)Some razor blades
Hokay, so crumble up 30 salvia leaves and put into stonware jug. Pour in 1/2 cup of the denatured alcohol
Seal jug and wait for 2 or more hours
Then pour out just the alcohol wich shall be now green into the casserole dish and crumble in 5 more salvia leaves
Next set a fan over the casserole dish to speed up natural evaportation AGAIN, THE VAPORS ARE HARMFUL, SO IT IS WISE TO JUST DO THIS OUTSIDE, IN A GARADGE, OR A WELL VENTILATED AREA
When most of the alcohol has evaporated preheat your oven to 250˙ F.
Then place in the dish and let sit for 15 minutes or untill the leaves are dried (once the dish caught fire in my oven and i had to run out holding the flaming dish with my mom’s kitchen mittens and throw it in the snow, so this can be dangerous if there if most of the alcohol hasn’t dried up.)

How does the Denatured Alcohol make the salvia stronger?
the denatured alcohol releases the Salvinorum in the leaves, so when you put on fresh leaves it evaporates and leaves behind Salvinorum in concentrated ammounts.
Jan 29, 2008 2:29 pm - 5* try salvia with a little weed. seriously it amps up the effect like crazy, smoking it straight isn’t very effective unless you have a shit ton of it.
Feb 02, 2008 8:04 pm - Nice egg...u can also use 95% isopropal alcohol or grain alcohol. I find that this method is time consuming and expensive if you are doing it on a small scale which is why I prefer to buy mine instead of making. Also they wash it with certain things to get rid of much more plant matter. Also GEE0F you shouldnt smoke salvia in a joint because it requires hotter temperatures then just an ember to be vaporized. Pipes are good but bongs are the prefered method. 5* cuz not too many good salvia eggs on here

Feb 05, 2008 9:11 am - For those who dont know how this works: The alcohol (AND HELL NO ACETONE!!) does extract the psycoactive stuff out of the leaves. when you let the alcohol dry out slowly it will leave the purified drug in the jar. But i dont do it that way, i like to have a nice smoke too and dont mess around to much with that, you know, its not just the healthiest thing you could do but you dont die from it. Its yer own choice.
And yes Weed and Salvia and most other herbal drugs are much moreeffective in a pipe, because the chemicals need more heat to vaporize within the smoke. Best results are given with a vaporizer, then you dont have extract the crap and vaporize it directlx, but vaporizers are expensive.
