Ok so heres the thing, you want fire crackers, but your wallet (or parental unit’s) wont allow it, i will teach you a simple, effective and CRACKING way to make easy, cheap and fun Fire Crackers. This is my work space, i have all the necessary equipment and materials here (for this you will need: some cap gun caps, cardboard (thickness will be specified later) and a pensil). This is a home made funnel (or tipper). Having one isn’t compulsery but it makes the job alot easier. Now, get a peice of card bord (like out of a school writing book) and wrap it around a pencil. Then cut it in half. Then you cut both the ends off a pencil (you will need the other one later). Place a peice of stcky tape on the bottom of the pencil peice. Then place it at the bottom of the card board roll Using sissors, cut a small hole in the side of the cardboard. Now start getting the cap dust out of the caps, WARNING: be careful with the dust, it can ignight VERY easily. Then place the dust into the cardboard. Once this is done place the other pencil end into the open end of the cardboard, then sticky tape it. finally comes time for the fuse, you can use anything, but i used a sparkler. Place it into the hole in the side of the cardboard..... ...now its time to explode it.
Mar 19, 2008 11:26 pm - i once spent 5 hours gluing and regluing and adding layers and wrapping it with thick wire to make it strong enough to take off like a rocket (i added fins and a directional blast and even a lego launching base lol) and the fucker still wouldn’t hold! these things are POWERFUL. I’m gonna try diluting it with a bit of sparkler dust next time to make it burn slower.
