I go to an older highschool, it hasnt always been a highschool. it started out being a grade school but then turned into a warehouse and then became my school. Well after school during the extra cirricular activities me and my friend heard about a tunnel under our school, this interested us and made us want to explore it (this was about 2 years ago when we first heard about it). Well the room that we worked in had an entry to the tunnel but it had a normal lock and a deadbolt and we never had the time away from an adult to break or pick the lock (like we even knew how to pick locks back then) but we knew where the tunnel went to so we dicided to check out the other end. The first time we just looked into the boiler room of our school and saw the exit of the tunnel on the other side but we never did anything. Well about a year later the door was unlocked so we ventured in and found that there wasnt just one tunnel. On one side there was an entrance to a giant dirt floored room that was about 4.5 feet tall which was under our gym which was weird feeling some room that big and there was just a bunch of junk down there so that wasnt too cool. On the other side of the main tunnel there were 2 openings. The first one was the one that we had figured was the only tunnel, our school is built in a U shape so it has a courtyard and theres a walkway through the center of it, well to most people that i tells dismay thats really the main tunnel that was and still is used for pipes coming from the boiler. The second tunnel goes under the main hallway but both tunnels were really nasty and we never would go in them and we never had a flashlight whenever we got the chance to go in them so we never went too far. The next year our school was under construction when they were adding on and they took the lock off that one door so we never had to worry about it getting locked again. This year was the big year that we actually did something. Since our school was getting renovated and rewired they cleaned out all the tunnels because they were getting used quite often by people running wires and stuff. Well the first time we actually went through the tunnel we started on the boiler room side which dosent matter all but they had now installed lights in the main tunnel and the switch was in the boiler room so that was our reasoning because we didnt have a flashlight so we finally went under the courtyard. Then a few days to a week later i found our schools fallout shelter. There was 2 entrances to 2 diff shelters, one was a big room while the other was more of a hallway, what u had to do was go down the hallway and turn and go a little and then theres a room. Some teacher told me that there was some weird teacher that had stuff down there and that he had a teepee set up down there and he would go down there, but i dunno. There were some old desks, computers and stupid junk that wasnt worth taking or messing with. When u go down that hallway it really ended up leading to under the main hallway of the main floor of our school which is parallel to the tunnel in the court yard. This also leads under the office and a lot of other useful stuff :-) but anyway that was the second tunnel entrance in the main tunnel under the school that we never went into because it was always so dirty. To tell you the truth, hearing about a fallout shelter was what made me want to explore the boiler room but i never saw the thing and then i heard about the tunnels so that became my interest. The fallout shelter ended up being a let down when i finally found them. Our schools so incredibly stupid its not even funny because outside theres a trap door thats not locked or anything, its just heavy as heck and not very noticeable. Well this leads to the boiler room and u can get all over the school without any alarms messing with ya and it also leads to the alarm box. If i get the chance maybe ill add some pictures of as much stuff as i can but i dont know if ill ever get a chance to go down there ever again but if i do ill make sure to borrow one of the schools digital cameras since i probably wont have mine at school. Its pretty cool. Whenever kids dont believe me i just say ok next time it snows and gets icy outside, take a look at the walkway and tell me that that is the only place that snow never gathers on and thats the only place that water dosent freez on while when u get less than 2 inches off that sidewalk theres ice and snow so thats my little trick to proove that the tunnels exist to the weak wimps that are too afraid to go check it out for themselves. Also the boiler rooms boilers are so big they are enough to make you mess your pants. It always reminds me of a big mortuary furnace that they burn people in and theres a whole bunch of them in there that are so big that u can stand up in. The boilers are pretty much like the old steam engines without wheels and junk.

Ill have to do something good to write an egg on. When i get my climbing rope ill do some pretty cool junk.
