Whenever it gets dark and me and my best friend start a fire, we end up playing what I sometimes call Ninja Tag. We get a kick out of the game, because we both trust each other not to open our eyes. The whole point of the game is to be outside in the dark, mebbe with nothing but a fire to light the outside. You and your friend start off a decent distance away from each other, count to three, and close your eyes. The game has begun. You have to keep your eyes shut. You can only use your other senses to get around and find your friend, and tag him before he tags you. It’s like playing tag and hide-n-seek at the same time, but you can play it with just two people. We modified the rules for multiple players, and it became a sort of tournament, to see who would last the whole game and survive. When we played, I kept getting tagged out, and they would both take too long to go after each other, so I’d stand directly between them, and let them know how far apart they were and which way to head to speed things up. Gotta be careful, though sometimes you gotta jump away because they wanna charge each other. The experience is greatly enhanced by balling up a sock and stuffing it in another, that way you have weapons to attack each other with. Being a martial arts/ninja dude, me and my friends prefer padded swords made with ducttape, foam and pvc pipe. Give the game a shot, have fun. (Note: When your eyelids sense something bright, and you hear crackling, smell smoke, and feel warmth, that just MIGHT be the fire.)
