my laser skirmish story

note that i am an aussie and cant go and do airsoft.
This is a couple of short story’s of me going laser skirmishing.
story 1 assassination
This was a battle where it was 10 on 10 and one person from each team was to be the VIP and the objective was to assassinate the other teams VIP.
Our plan was to split our team in two with one half guarding the VIP and the other half trying to kill the other VIP. i was on the protecting squad.
we ran straight for a ditch that had a wooden bridge spanning it. This was the perfect position to hide the VIP because the bridge had wood on the side facing the enemy but none on the other. so the VIP sat hidden under the bridge while we hid in bushes around the gully. Soon i saw one of the enemy walking towards us casually but appeared to have no idea we were there. As he got closer i looked through the site of the gun and realized it was broken. the sight was not attached properly and could move to the sides. Regardlessly i opened fire.

i hit the enemy removing one of his 9 lives. suddenly out of nowhere 7 other enemy’s came running at us. instantly i knew we would be over whelmed so i yelled to retreat then i ran down the creak bed leaping logs getting as far as possible from the onslaught as possible. as i looked back i saw that the others had head of in a different direction they had gone right.
then i ducked and began belly crawling through the moos plants. As i headed back i saw the people who had been attacking us before all hiding behind a large wooden barricade shooting at some unseen enemy. perfect even the enemy VIP was there, they all had their backs turned to me. i realized if a just lay there shooting i would be quickly shoot so i made my decision.
i ran at the enemy VIP firing wildly killing him but i was killed soon after.
The enemy VIP later revealed that i reduced him to only one life.

story 2 behind enemy lines.
At first i thought i was in the perfect position. my position was a large tree with several large logs lying around it providing me with lots of cover on most sides but the main thing was i had over on the front which is what mainly matters... right.
i sat in my position but was unable to do much for quite a while, due to me having a short range weapon. after a while of lying behind a log knowing there was nothing i could do yet with my gun being crappy so there was no point in sitting there and getting sniped, i looked up. to my amazement there were enemy soldiers all around me. i started shooting hitting most of them but then they got into cover. then the massacre began.
