Jumping is a lot of fun. Im talking about any jumping (over, on, or down stuff). To begin with, you must first, of course, love jumping and getting up high. Anytime you are about to jump something (table(s), chair(s), ect.), you have to make yourself think you can do it. No matter how high or long something is, you can do it. Forget weight and gravity, only think upwards. Style comes naturally, normally you’re not gonna need an instructor to tell you you gotta jump off with one leg and heave your hands in the air and blah blah blah.
One of the best ways to train your legs for jumping is practicing on stairs. This is probable theee best way. Whenever confronted by stairs, no matter upwards or downwards, run it and skip steps. Or you can jump the whole thing, or come up with your own creative way of doing it. This may sound weird but it works and is lots of fun, and prepares for even more fun.
And you gotta stretch, excercise, eat healthy, work on vertical jump, etc. regularly.

What do you get out of learning to jump?

It improves your mental and physical health.
It looks cool when you can jump over ledges and stuff.
Increases stamina.
Decreases time and boringness of traveling stairs.
Relieves stress and any other annoying thing.
You can run away from people much faster.
You can get on top of things you would have never though possible.
And its lots of fun!

Almost nothing beats the thrills of jumping!

I almost forgot wall jumping!

Ok, this is easy. when you can jump as i have taught you earlier, anything can be done on a wall. This is includes backflipping off of walls, running a few steps on them (sideways), or just kicking off of them.

Have fun! But please dont get hurt.

Good egg, The way i jump, and i can get up to a 5 feet legde wit hout making any noise when landing, sorta ninja like, but i run as fast, untill im about 2 feet away, jump up, Tuck both legs in, and land on both ball of foot at same time. and ussaly if it’s about 6feet, I run, jump, focus on getting one leg on the to, and getting a good grip, and push self up.
