How to Hack Into an iPod With the Lock Feature On....
Have you ever locked your I pod and then forgot the combination, I had this happen to me so I was messing around and found a way to get around it. my I pod is the 4th generation but I am sure it should work for all others too.
1. Connect the iPod to your PC using a Sync Cable.
2. Open iTunes.
3. Click the Options button in the lower right corner of the iTunes window.
4. Click Enable FireWire disk use.
5. Go to "My Computer" and select your iPod.
6. Select tools and the folder option.
7. Select the "view" tab.
8. Select "Show hidden files and folders".
9. Search for the file located in the "Ipod_Control" folder.
10. Look in a folder thats called "Device" find the file named "_locked".
11. Change the file name "_locked" to "_unlocked".
12. Then your I pod will be Unlocked.

Feb 23, 2008 9:02 pm - I never see the point of setting a combination on your Ipod anyways.
It’s like if it gets stolen, then they’re not going to return just because it has a combination on it.

Feb 24, 2008 9:09 am - I’m not saying anything against the Creative, because I thought about getting one of those. I really didn’t specifically mean Microsoft, it was just kinda there as "anything but Apple."
I would be fine with the Creative, but my parents bought me the Zune for Christmas, so thats what I ended up with.
