Here are some weapons i have collected over the years, i can not show them all, because it would take to long, so here goes, if the pictures want to work.
this first peices is a norweigien fighting sword, it is heavy , sharp, but well balanced, and made of steel. 
the next peiece is a double head sword, its case is made of wood, and has really nice carvings in it.
The next peiece is well made and steel, and very sharp and likes to cut anyone that touchs it, it was made after the movie Alien, the detail is great on it.
the next peice they say that Doc Hoilday had his knifes made like little guns, and he had them in little hostlers on him .......this is not a toy. It is very sharp
The next peice is a Rome axe , two head axe, sharp on both sides, and very heavy, but good balance...

here is an norweigen double headed skull axe , nice and sharp, and heavy

of coarse you would need a spear or two, these babies are nice and sharp, and tall.....
and this is the spear head up close
here is a knife i keep close to me, i like the way it feels, and the way it handles.......
well i think i will stop here and make another on some other time, i hope you enjoy them, cause i do. The first sword on here i enjoy handling a lot, and wheeling it around, it keeps you in shape you could say...........i will make this part 1. |

Some of that looks like it might be stainless steel rather than carbon steel. Stainless isn’t really a combat metal, so you want to be careful what you hit with anything made of stainless as it’s liable to bend or break. Other than that, nice collection. |

I know somthing about these weapons, and they are mostly out of weak cast iron (spelled right?), they indeed look nice, but are quite useless in combat, as they (im rly shure of that) will break after some hits. Especially those axes.
You are always saying they are sharp, but i can also make a bread knife sharp as that, or even sharper. (Some kitchen knifes tend to be sharper than such weapons, cuz if they were as sharp as a kitchen knife, the intersection would get blunt very quickly.
Look for Re-enactment weapons, for show fights, they are mostly made of laminated steel, wich is beside damascus-steel (hope its spelled right) the best material for such weapons. Damascus is fuuuucking expensive, if you get a real (not a laser or acid carved) damascus steel weapon, then you can be proud of somthing.

@Traceur, i dont want to be rude but you are really miss-informed and talking shit by urself you stupid dumb child. Go cray, wtf, damascus stell technice is lost... pfft. Damascus is just layers of a hard metal and a soft metal, combined to have a metal wich has both properities, stay sharp cus of the hard metal, and dont break quick, cuz of the soft metal.
You can make damascus stell when you have two metals (Sof and hard as i said), clean them in acid, then stack the stripes (Hard-soft-hard-soft& 41; and quickly put them into the forging coal, put borax ontop to air- seal it (so they can oxide), the when they are hot enough you can (fire)weld the stripes with one strong hit. The just (!) fold the big stripe and forge your knife/Sword/tool/ring/dil o or whatever.
Go inform you a bit better. And as i warned in my first comment, Quote: ...if you get a real ( not a laser or acid carved ) damascus steel weapon...
... gtfo for a while and use yer brain and the internet for a while plz.

Whoever said that Damascus steel has not been reliably reproduced is correct. The formula has been lost for hundreds of years now. Personally, I don’t think you need all-powerful, indestructible steel weapons to cut a fucker up if you know what you’re doing. |

I dont know what kind of fucking damast formula you are talking about, but its shit for sure. Damast steel is just a hard and a soft metal folded together to get a strong, sharp an benable blade, you dont need a fucking formula for that.
its just fucking time consuming and hard work, cause of that its so expensive. And of course the knowledge of forging. A knife made of damascus steel can cost up to 600 to 1000 bux and up. |

Obviously you dont know too much about knives.I have 100 or such of such weapons some identical to your that were all bought at a fleamarket.They are cheaply made and are only made for looks.
Look for a knife made out of carbon steel.Or certain grades of AUS.Some good knife companies are Cold Steel,and Puma is a good one as well.Im guessing most of your knives are made in Pakistan or China. |
