This egg will show you how to add a You Tube video to Power Point. With out having to download and convert the video. The only thing is that you must have a active Internet connection when playing the video in your power point presentation. This egg was done with Power Point 2007 but I am sure it will work in older versions to.
First open PP And make sure that you have the Developer tab if you don’t have it. Go to the Office Logo it the top left corner click on it and at the bottom Click on PowerPoint Options.
That will open the PP options Under the Popular tab put a check in the box Show Developer tab in the Ribbon Then Click Ok. That will then give you the Developer tab.
Then Click on the Developer tab and then you will see the More Control Icon (it’s a hammer and a wrench)
Then click on that Icon and scroll almost all the way down till you see Shockwave Flash Object click that then click ok.
Then in the slide that you want the video you will drag the mouse from the top to the bottom to make the window that the video will play in. Once you get the window you can move and resize it to what ever you need.
Then you will get the video from You Tube. I am using Team Fortress 2 Train Bug - "Stop That Train" then copy the URL from the right side of the video.
Once you have the URL go back to your PP. Then Right click where the video window is and click on Properties
