VNC Guide [Remote Pc Connection - Stealth] [PhiL][*Pics*] By Phil At Rotteneggs.com
What is VNC?
Vnc stands for "Virtual Network Computing", There are 2 parts of a VNC
The server and the client, The server transmits to the client.
VNC allows for one computer to have full access of the other computer, It pretty much emulates the other computer
It would be like sitting at the other computers desk.
What do i need?
VNC-Pack-PhiL (1.7mb)
The pack includes a Stealth Server and UltraVnc Viewer
Instructions:
Step 1.
Go to the remote computer on which you want to install the server on, Open my pack that you downloaded, and locate the folder titled
"SERVER"
Step 2.
Drag and drop the folder to your desktop, Then place the folder somewhere hidden, like a folder in program files, or in system32, a directory where nobody will find it.
Step 3.
Run "Winvnc.exe"
Step 4.
Where it says "Password" Enter a password!, This is so that only the person who knows the password can connect.., You can set it so that you view the desktop wallpaper
but i dont reccomened it, Because it will be slower.., Where it says "Disable Remote Keyboard & Pointer or Disable Local Keyboard & Pointer", Do not tick either, UltraVNC will give you better options for this
Step 5.
If the computer has a firewall, You should add "WinVnc" To the exceptions list:
Step 6.
Go to Control Panel>System>Computer Name, You should see a section that says "Full computer name:", write down or remember the computer name.
Step 7.
You should now be done with installing the SERVER to a remote pc, Now you should be on your local pc (Client), Open the pack you downloaded earlier,
Double click the file called "UltraVNC_1.0.4_RC13_Setup.exe"
Step 8.
Once you are running UltraVnc installer, follow the onscreen instructions until you reach the "SELECT COMPONENTS" Page, On the "SELECT COMPONENTS" Page expand the drop down menu and select "UltraVNC Viewer Only"
Then just follow the rest of the on-screen instructions.
Step 9.
Open UltraVnc Viewer, Enter the PC_NAME you wrote down/remembered earlier, Under quick options select "AUTO", Click "AUTO SCALING"(Opens in a window), Select "VIEW ONLY" if you only want to view the other pc’s screen and now have any input, If you want to
be able to control the pc and have full access do not click "View Only", Leave the rest of the settings alone, CLICK CONNECT!, It should now start to connect, If it asks for a password write in the password that you set earlier.
Here is what it looks like when you are connected:
Some Notes:
-If it says "Failed to get server address", It means the remote computer is turned off.
-This egg is not Copy/Pasted and all of it is made by me.

-This egg/guide should only be applied on a computer with full consent of the system administrator/owner

i cant get it to work. i keep getting the cannot connect message and everything is setup as instructed and yes both comps are online |

Threw installer.app on your iphone/ ipod touch, add the program VNSEA and/or Touchpad pro for remote access to your desktop via vnc. Touchpad pro works as a great multi-media remote, and its opperates off of wifi.

If you mean rapidshare.. No you dont, just click the FREE button and follow the steps (Write in captcha, select mirror) and it should download. =)
