Yes I’m a jackass & I have told you how to find & plague people
with these parasites.
Now I will tell you (from experience)how to treat the bites.

I have been infested with 50+ of these blood suckers on several different occasions ,& I have overcome my fear of them ,but they still suck.

.Lyme disease

.Babesiosis

.Human granulocytic ehrlichiosis

.Tularemia

.Rocky Mountain spotted fever

.Colorado tick fever

.Human monocytic ehrlichiosis

.Relapsing fever

(Babesiosis is not as fun as it sounds)
That’s just a few of the problems they can cause.

Skin reactions include:

Pus-filled bumps

Hardened skin elevations

Nodules (granulomas) that, in rare cases, can grow large enough to require surgical removal

Common symptoms are as follows:

Lyme disease — A variety of symptoms can occur, including a flflu likellness, an expanding red rash that may include a central clear area (a bull’s-eye rash), arthritis, heart rhythm problems, difficulties in thinking or perception, and neuropathies (pain or changes in sensation as a result of nerve damage).

Human monocytic ehrlichiosis — Symptoms ranging from mild to severe can involve many organ systems.

Human granulocytic ehrlichiosis — Symptoms ranging from mild to severe include high fever, headache, a general sick feeling (malaise), achy muscles (myalgia), nausea, vomiting, cough, stiff neck and confusion. Less than 10% of people with this disease will develop a rash.

Colorado tick fever — Flulike symptoms include fever and chills, severe headache, achy muscles (myalgia), stiff neck, light intolerance and, in some cases, a spotted rash.

Babesiosis — Many people will not have any symptoms. Others develop fatigue, fever, drenching sweats, nausea, vomiting, headache, muscle aches, joint aches and jaundice. Patients with suppressed immune systems may develop severe disease.

Tularemia — The symptoms of this disease vary widely. Some people do not have any symptoms, but this disease also can be severe, causing septic shock and death. Common symptoms include fever, chills, headache and a general sick feeling (malaise). Many people also develop a single, red ulcerated lump with a central scab and tender, swollen lymph nodes in the area. A small number of patients develop pneumonia.

Rocky Mountain spotted fever — Symptoms include fever, headache, a spotted rash on wrists and ankles, and a patchy rash on arms and legs. Muscle aches (myalgia), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain are also common.

I think I got bitten by every one of these 2 weeks ago
.Deer Tick
.Western Black-Legged Tick
.American Dog Tick
.Brown Dog Tick
.Rocky Mountain Wood Tick
.Lone Star Tick

Order Your Tick ID Card!!!!!!(I added that for lol’s)

How to Remove a Tick;
If a tick is removed within 24 hours, the chances of it transmitting Lyme disease or other infections are much less. . Use fine-point tweezers to grasp the tick as close to the skin as possible. Pull gently. Avoid squeezing the body of the tick. Clean the site of the bite, your hands and the tweezers with disinfectant. You may want to wear protective gloves.

You also may want to place the tick in a small container, like a pill container, and bring it to your vet for identification. Never use a burned match, petroleum jelly, or nail polish to try to remove ticks. These methods are ineffective.

This is my treatment;drink lotz of water & take a scalding hot bath
with a half a cup of bakeing soda (for the itching) in it twice a day.
stay in it as long as you can ,to sweat out the toxins.
if you develop any of the above listed symptoms see your vet
immediately

I hate having to take ticks off me! My grandfather got lyme disease a few years ago and was in the hospital for awhile, we are in the woods very often. Thanks for the itch remedy.

You shoul have added to make sure you get all of the tick. If you leave the head it still can burrow in. My God Tecno! You need an tick and flea collar. Nice egg here’s a 5er for ya.

I can say that using a burnt match doesn’t work because I tried that method one time and the fucker started biting down harder (not a good feeling), so you’re right there. I wouldn’t recommend using tweezers though because you can rip the body apart from the head and your chance for infection increases drastically. The easiest way to get the tick off is to pour isopropyl on it vigorously until it unlatches itself. The tick will try to escape the hostile environment and unlatch itself.
