How to Paint an Airsoft Gun

Ok so in Canada all airsoft guns have to be clear and gay so i decided to paint it.

Depending on how you want to paint it whether you want camo or to look like a real gun

You’ll need:

Paint(not enamel)
Airsoft Gun to paint
masking or painters tape
Local vegetation
newspaper

First step is to make sure there is no dust on the gun and or dirt.

After that you’ll want a surface to work on so i used papers.

Tape off any parts of the gun you don’t want to be painted. Also stuff some paper into the barrel so paint can’t get inside.

Now when you paint you don’t want to put it too close or you’ll get runs of paint and such, so spray lightly from about 6 to 12 inches away.

Wait for this coat to dry. and then apply 2 more coats of the first color.

Now if you want camo you have to have another color of paint then you first one.

Lay some leaves down on the gun and other vegetation. And spray your next color. Don’t lift the leaves up. Leave them there for the next coat.

And once that coat is dry spray another one and your done.

they turned out a little gay so i know have it painted just gun metal blue.

pretty well done. the guns in america can be whatever color people choose to make them in so it doesn’t really apply to me. 4 stars.

Yeah the color thing doesn’t apply to me either but a good egg nonetheless. The camo idea makes this worth a 5* in my opinion.

I also live in canada but just so you know all airsoft guns dont have to be clear!! just if you are shipping them from another country then they do!!

Not a bad egg, most camo doesn’t use leaf shapes, just smooth, irregular blobs.
Maybe just cut some blobs out of paper instead of using leaves?

Decent egg, I gave it five, because I could.

The pressure of the paint will move the leaves if you "lay them down"

*1 as I live on Pluto where local vegetation is scarce

if i didnt see the movie shooter i would of never thought of the whole leaf thing but good job sounds like a decent idea ill be sure to try it 4*
