This is very easy to make and good to put in your pencil case at school so you can ping people in the back of the head. Here’s how you make a peg gun:

Materials:
__GUN__
1 ruler
1 wooden peg
glue (PVA)
_AMMO_
lots of pegs
lots of rubber bands

Method:
1.Get your ruler and glue the wooden peg on to the back of it so the grabby mouth bit of it faces the opposite side of the ruler.

2. That’s basically the gun. As I said its very easy to make.
3. To make the ammunition you need to pull apart a peg to get the metal springy thing in the middle.
4. Get 1 rubber band and loop it through the open square bit of the spring thing then put on end of the rubber band and pull it through the the other end of the rubber band to make a slip knot holding the on to the spring bit.

5. to fire, secure the spring bit in the grabby peg mouth thing and stretch the rubber band attached to the bullet over the end of the ruler opposite the peg. Make sure the rubber band is nice and tight. After that, aim at your target and push on the end of the wooden peg closest to you and the wooden peg will open and release the metal spring thing.
It would be easier to understand if there were pictures but i don’t know how to attach them on. Help would be nice.

I’ll give you 4* because it was your first egg (good job not mentioning that btw) and because you obviously put effort into this. I’m not going to flame you for the pics becuase maybe you didn’t know but try to add actual pics next time. That will make the egg more appealing and easier to understand.
Jun 08, 2008 1:18 pm - i refuse to vote on grounds of complication and no pictures to better explain. i cant base an effective vote on what this is it if cant have a reasonable comprehension of what it is.
however if this is simply a rubberband gun with a peg for a trigger im gonna be really pissed.
