Seriously, I remember when you could make eggs on how to just destroy cars, turn an M80 into a nuclear weapon, make a badass sword, and even just get a program for free (everyone does it). Now eggs are getting dropped because some dumbass might misuse something when it isn’t even mentioned to use it any other way. The admins just need to calm the fuck down and let people make interesting eggs

You seem to think that this is a decision meant to "clamp down" on the members of RE, it’s not. If the new rules are not adhered to RE will simple cease to exist. It’s really not about you or your perceived loss of freedom on RE.
The Internet is no longer the free "get away with anything" realm it was not too long ago.
Pretty simple, the site either changes with the times, or gets shut down. Permanently.

Theres websites all over the place that are bad, hell just Google rape. Im sure the internet police havent shut those sites down.

at BEST its left up to the discretion of the country the site and/or poster is living in as far as legal status goes
and considering RE is hosted in america along with most of its members and since we do have a RIGHT (not a privledge) to freedom of speech theres nothing the government will do except bitch. they cant shut you down or impose any legal recourse on you for what you say or do

It doesn’t matter, if the rules weasel states are not adhered to the site will cease to exist at some point as a result. That is a fact. So, if you like the site, stay within the rules. It’s not about censoring the internet, but this site has to remain within the rules. If you don’t like the site and it’s rules, log off and do not return.
It’s not about your pointing out the double standards, it’s simply the way it is and I don’t see it changing any time soon.
As for the ads, It’s been stated a million times, that are bought in lots and each ad is part of an entire lot. You don’t by just a single ad. When you have the lot you don’t know what ads will be part of it, that is up to the ad company.
Agreed, the ads need to be changed and I’m suggesting to weasel that it is something that needs to be done.

if the site owner/admins want to banish someone simply cause they dont like them there more than allowed to because its there website. this is however because they own this site. theres still no legal obligations to banish certain material from the website.
yes, the owners can close the site at any time, yes they can remove any one or any content they wish
however stating it under the false representation of legal recourse for posting bomb or drug eggs is bullshit, tell the real reason. im not bitching so much about the fact we cant add certain content. but lying to your members and claiming its due to pressure from law enforcement is crap
