Today I am going to show you how to make an easy pen shank.
Materials Needed:Pen, Small Nail that can fit in the pen, Bigger Nail for pushing other nail, Plyers, File (optional)
1. First use the pliers to take off all of the writing bit of the pen.
2. Take out the ink tube or whatever is inside.
3. Pull the back bit off the pen.
4. Push the nail as far as you want the shank bit pointing out where the nib of the pen used to be.
5. If you cannot get the nail out because the pen tube is too long then use the bigger nail to push the nail further up the tube.
6 (optional). If your shank end isn’t as sharp as you want it to be use your file to sharpen it.
This shank can easily be concealed just buy putting the cap of your pen on so if you get searched by cops they won’t suspect anything (unless your covered in gang/prison tattoo’s or have blood spilled on yourself).
Have fun with this shank.

Jun 22, 2008 10:44 am - Why not just carry the nail? It’s not concealed so if you get caught it would probably be even less suspicous to have a nail in your pocket rather then a pen shell with a nail through it.

if anything you should made the shank disguised as a pen (can still write with it), and made a sharp, quick attachment concealed in the rear. 1*
Jun 22, 2008 7:35 pm - in prison a pencil is used more often as a shank than somethin like this. like dodge pointed out, just sharpen and go and even the boss’s cant bitch cause you got a pencil, there legal to have in prison
tho lots of cons do a stab and break. stab it in and break it off, but i try to educate. stab it in and pull it out. if you leave it in it will aid in clotting and cause far less damage than if you remove it
