Ok I’m not usually a big fan off Food Eggs, but I just discovered this trick and it’ll save me so much time in the future, that it’s worth an egg.
This recipe takes about 1 minute, and will require
*1 Marshmallow
*A handful of Rice Krispies
*A Microwave Oven
STEP 1:
Microwave the marshy-mellow for about 15 seconds.
It will expand to the size of a baseball. Yumm :D
STEP 2:
Get a handful of rice krispies and begin mending it into the marshy goodness.
STEP 3:
After the marshmallow and rice are fully mixed, roll it into a ball using the palms of your hands. It should end up looking like this:
ENJOY :O(I’m working on the Film Egg pt. 2, just wanted to write this :D) |

 | Jul 13, 2008 3:27 pm - Adding a little bit of butter would be pretty good I think, since that’s what the original recipe calls for.
Nice egg! 5* I never thought of trying that. |

Nice egg! 5* I never thought of trying that. |

 | Jul 13, 2008 5:00 pm - I think the butter is only used for making sure the marshmallow doesn’t burn in the sauce pan |

 | Jul 14, 2008 8:20 pm - fast opposed to what opposite way of making them? i thought this was the directions on the back of the box. nuke sum butter and marshmellows, throw in rice crispys and allow to cool/harden... |

 | Jul 14, 2008 9:11 pm - This made me desire rice krispy treats. I bought a bag of marshmallows and some rice krispies. I am going to try this and if I don’t burn my hands and it tastes good, you’re going to get five stars. |

 | Jul 14, 2008 9:44 pm - Ok, I just tried it so let me give you my summary... yes, it did work. Yes it does taste good but I did notice the butter missing. I also noticed that if you do poke right to the center of the marshmallow fresh from the microwave you could burn your fingers. You also have to be fast with smashing the rice krispies because the marshmallow cools quickly. Also, I found it to be very messy and got all over my hands.
What I like about this is it is very fast and it is a single serving. So, if I don’t feel like making a big mess in a pan and having to make a huge batch, this will suffice. I’m not sure I would serve these to guests or anything. lol Anyway, five stars as promised. |
