I. SHOPLIFTING
1. Preperation
The preperation for shoplifting is fairly simple. We will begin with the layout of a store and locating cameras and their dead zones. It is often recommended that before shoplifting you get a good look at the store and its enviroment. Notice how the people act and what they do (store employees). After you have studied the surroundings it is mandatory to locate and find cameras and their dead zones. Dead zones are areas in which the camera can not reach, is not focused, or just isn’t placed at. Dead zones are your friends and you should make many friends!!! :) These dead zones are often found at a lower level of the floor, corners or in between two objects, a buddy blocking the camera view, and of course :) the toy aisle... Money is an essential incase you get caught during your encounter with shoplifting, it is always a good idea to carry this around!
2. Equiptment
Equiptment is not essential to the shoplifting but is usually a good idea when entering a store and planning on stealing. A bag from that local store hidden in your pocket can be used to stuff items in, or a backpack after a long school day can be used as a cover up for stealing items, other bags such as purses for the ladies can also be used. Lining these bags with aluminum foil (not recommended for paper see through bags!) can repel any sensors at the doorway of a store, lining is usually done in 3 or 2 layers.
3. First Move
During your first encounter with shoplifting you may feel a bit nervous and bad about it. Feeling bad about stealing something can be bothersome to some people, if so then just try your best not to think about it and don’t worry about the possibility of you getting caught. Feeling nervous about stealing is typical for first timers, when stealing there is never a need to worry, even if you get caught inside the store stealing something the worse thing they can do is make you put it back on the shelf (if you haven’t open or used the item). If you have opened the item the best thing you can do is either A. Chunk that shit quick and run! B. Drop the item secretly do as the person says. C. Pay for it! When stealing an item there are several ways to do this, but the most important thing is stealth. Before stealing you should be sure no one is either watching your or following you. Some employees at stores will watch your actions if you are acting strange and out of character, the main thing to keep in mind here is that keeping your cool and acting natural!
3:1 sub-directory Stealth
Stealth is important when shoplifting, your main objective is to get whatever it is your looking for and do it quickly without any suspicion. When shoplifting you should act natural and not out of character as if your up to something, this can cause you to get caught and even worse arrested! Acting natural comes.. well.. naturally! Just walk around minding your own business not worrying about whether or not you will be caught. Beginning with you walking into the store, I’ve heard some people say to greet the door greeter if there is one, don’t to that shit! you will just increase the amount of people who recognize you if you get caught! On entering the store you should make your way to whatever it is you are targeting for, say if I want a DVD player I would go to the electronics section of the store and use people to my masking. When using people to mask you you are basically just using them without them knowing (depending on if its your friend or not) that they are a cover up for either a camera or a employee. Large objects require large amounts of stealth and this can usually be fixed by going to a place with a lot of stuff and not many people (clothing area, toy aisle, auto-repair area). When having a pocketed object on you it is good to make sure your body does not look odd (things poking out that look un-natural). If asked by an employee for something (other than being caught) just act calm and play along.
4. Cameras
Cameras are usually not a very big problem, mainly because most of them are fake inside large warehouse stores (Wal-Mart, Circuit City, BestBuy, Target). Cameras are always fake unless a monitor is near by and is being watched by a security guard or employee. Cameras that have a classic shape such as the square box camera with a blinking or non blinking red light are most likely fake unless a monitor is near by. Dome cameras are almost 99.9% of the time fake unless inside a small store. Pod cameras, much shaped like the dome camera but are smaller and hang from a long pole from the roof are only partially fake, these cameras are mostly found fake if it is spread far from other cameras in the area, but if they are grouped closely together best watch out!
5. The Getaway
Upon leaving the store you must make sure your item is out of site and out of mind, yes I said out of mind (best not to think of the negatives). If a door greeter is present then it is best to just keep walking even if they ask you to come back (only applies if the alarm is not going off!). If an alarm is triggered and the door greeter asks you to come back dart your ass out of there!!! *1 If a security guard or employee chases you then drop the item, it is never worth getting caught and receiving punishment over it! If you have a aluminum lined bag then you are pretty much good to leave, no alarms will be triggered at all. If you don’t have a lined bag but do have a car just outside waiting on you then run for it, see key *1.
Well thats it, this egg will be updated soon so be looking forward to it!!!
