Ever wonder how those really cool pictures like this are created?
Well today you are going to learn!
~Supplies needed:~ Long Exposure Capable Camera ie. One that can change shutter speed.
Flashlight or other light source. (I used a flashlight with like 4 or 5 red LEDs in it.)
Dark Room
Tripod or Steady Area to set camera (I used a stool =P)
Procedure 1.Set up your camera in your dark area and turn the flash off.
2.Change your shutter speed to between 15-30 seconds depending on your design’s complexity.
3.Turn on the timer to allow yourself time to walk away.
4.With flashlight in hand walk away from the camera and wait for the shutter to go off.
5.Draw your design carefully as this is semi hard. If you can see anything behind or around the camera use this as a reference point to draw in the air.
You can use your hand to cover the light so that all the lines in your drawing aren’t connected.
Experiment around with other light sources such as led’s, mp3 players, phones, anything that gives off light.
Here are some of my drawings see if you can guess what they are!
Highlight to reveal:Fish.
Highlight to reveal:Skateboard.
Highlight to reveal:Jesus Christ it’s a lion, get in the car!!>:3.
