If you’ve used firefox you know how customizable it is and why that makes it so much better than IE.
But a lot of people just randomly google ways to speed up firefox then do all these tweaks in About:config and have no idea what there doing and mainly just slow it down..so heres an egg, with a really simple way to speed up firefox
First go to speedtest.net and see how fast your browser is now,(make sure you close out of everything except firefox)
Either save or write down these numbers,
Now go here
http://www.totalidea.com/content/downloads.php and download Firetune, a frakin awesome program that will tweak and speed up firefox greatly(i spent hours testing and tweaking my firefox and it still sped mine up by atleast 10%)
For Xp users i got the very bottom download and had no trouble.
Once installed its really simple choose your computer and connection speed, then go to "Other Optimizations" and check all of the boxes then click "Tune It"! your done now go back to firefox and test your speed again to see the difference!
