This is usually listed as "bolt bomb" in a much more dangerous form than this. This form is more useful for making a lot of noise, and scaring people.
Also, all other directions I’ve read for this, the writers don’t seem to have ever done it
And I have a picture.
First, You need two bolts and a nut they will both screw in to. Use thin bolts, I think the larger ones absorb the shock, and don’t go off.
Screw the nut onto one of the bolts 1/4 of the way.
Cut the WHITE TIPS off of strike anywhere matches, not the red part. Be careful not to light the matches by accident, take care, I used wire cutters very slowly.
About 4-5 tips should be good.
Then, put these white tips inside the nut, and screw the other bolt into it.
Screw it down very slow, but firm, to avoid early detonation. It should now look like this.
The bottom one in the picture didn’t work, while the top one did. Hence my point about thinner bolts.
Throw this very hard at a hard surface. The pieces will still be thrown but usually no where near as far as other instructions say it does.
If done correctly, makes a very loud CRACK.

Parties.
Late at night, in the street.
Friends’ houses.
Scaring groups of people who don’t expect it.
Setting off noise alarms to be an ass.
Aug 18, 2008 8:40 am - allready posted except the other guy used a cap from a cap gun and his one was better cus he said to tie some ribons or shoelases to the end so it always landed the right way
