Sep 14, 2008 7:32 pm - piston rings ok I have a snow machine that lost compresson in one of the cillinders one cillinder had 150psi the other one only had 40psi... so when spring came around I took the motor head off to see if I could fix it. well the cillinders and piston top are in good condition no scratches or black shit. now I was wondering if I could just order new rings and have them put in or would I need to have the cillinder milled out witch I heard is like over 100$ each. im not racing so I dont need super high compresson I just use this slead as a trail cruiser Add a Reply -- REPLIES -- mciain Sep 14, 2008 8:01 pm - FIRST !!! but no if its still stock you should be able to get the OEM rings (original manufacturer)and as long as the cylinder wals are smooth you dont need to bore it mciain Sep 14, 2008 8:02 pm - OH and if you replace one replace them all you dont wanna mess up the compresion in all of them if one cyilder has more comnpresion the other are pushing it and you will lose power ziggy-6956 Sep 15, 2008 7:01 pm - it costed me $486.56 to get myne bored out that was with labor costs and every thing cuz i was going on a trip and had no time so i took it in and got it proffessionally done but i could have done it my self for about 200-300 pending im not sure what parts w3re.

This happens when you wear shoes that are stiff and don’t fit correctly. It can also be caused by not clipping the edge of your toenail completely off so it creates a sharp edge which pokes the skin as it grows in. Switch to wearing loose shoes... go barefoot as much as possible. You can also try to cut the edge of the toenail half way down the toe yourself (can be painful and/or dangerous if you do it wrong). You would do it with a pair of these: You can get those at Walgreens or Walmart in the US. Treat your foot by pouring hydrogen peroxide on it daily. When I had one I a bit of the skin off and let the puss drain out. Then I used peroxide every day for a week and kept draining it and eventually it was okay. The_Gimp Sep 10, 2008 9:25 pm - PS. If you use those industrial clippers, soak your foot in salt water for about 1/2 an hour to soften the nail. It will make the procedure easier.
