Alright so i see these "quick and easy money" eggs on here all the time and most of them are fuckin stupid as hell and dont work. Im going to show you how to make a good little amount of money rather quickly and easily, while helping out the enviroment too! It takes a little effort, but it works
Supplies:
A truck or van- something with room to put shit.
The location of industrial dumpsters
(really just any dumpsters that there using for building/renovations and whatnot.
Procedure:
Ok so all you really need to do is go drive around and look for these dumpsters that there using for industrial purposes. New housing developments are perfect. Now, your gonna have to do a little dumpster diving, so if your embarrassed you could wait till night or something. What you need to look for are metals that are considered "commodities". Such as copper and aluminum. Aluminum is absolutely the most WASTED commodity metal on earth. Copper is wasted a lot to, but not as much. Look for things such as siding, gutters, window frameing shit, and really anything that feels really light for its size is probably Aluminum. A sure way to tell is to look for a screw hole and see if there is any rust on it. If there is no rust then its aluminum. Copper wire is easy to find to. If you can find a lot of copper wire what you can do to get the insulation off of it is build a little fire and melt it off. Carefull not to let it all melt though! Another thing to find is PVC, though its not worth as much you can still get money for it.
PRICES:
The national average on copper is about 2.50 a pound
Aluminum scrap is about 60 cents a pound, higher than that for cans because there a better grade aluminum.
PVC is only about 25 cents a pound.
Either way its all worth money.
I spent about 15 mins in a dumpster the other day, took all my shit up to a recycling center this morning and came back with 20 buck. Not bad for 15 mins worth of work. Oh and just google a place to take it to.
Like it or not, this is a legit way to make some cash. |

This is a good egg and 5*
But before you make this into a business you may want to see how often places are being renovated around your city. If it isn’t often enough than you’d have problems running a company off of this. And also, I’m not sure if its legal to empty out other people’s dumpsters. Most of them are loaned out by companies and they may make money off of the scrap in their dumpsters.
Still a good egg though. |

Not to put a damper on this, but you might want to check your local laws on this type of thing. It might actually be illegal to go into a dumpster and take things.
It sounds unbelievable but it is true. Just check into it before you stake making your living on it. One good set of fines and you’re out of business!
But the good news is, if it’s legal, you can get free food!

my dad does that only he works at a body shop and they throw out old radiators (alumunum)and damaged wheels (also aluminum)and he fills his truck all the way up with this stuff and sells it to scrap yards. also if you take a magnet it wont stick to aluminum |

There are many companies that do this proving it is a good way to make money, there are also companies that take the metal out of old electronics as well. |
