Okay heres how to make a simple cheap homemade blowgun for huntign smal game.
Materials:
metal pipe (about 3-5 foot long)
duct tape (the grey kind)
nails
and some razor blades.
(also some pipes have bures on the end just hacksaw them off or grind them off).
How to make the dart
STep 1:
Get the nail then cut a square strip of duct tape
Put the end of the nail on the duct tape.
Step 2:
Roll a tight cone around the nail
(also add extra tap for durability)
step 3:
Put the blowdart into the barel fo the gun if its to big mark a circle around the cone where it fits
then cut off with razor blade or scissors.
Add a couple more layers of duct tape.
How to shoot.
I can hit a thin tree from about 30 metres away and oranges off coke cans on my fence.
To aim when u look at ur target u should see 2 barrels

Keep your target aligned in the middle of them
always have steady hand
The wind can be a problem if its windy and you shoot straight at it you will probably miss.
so aim to the side a little to hit the target.
Hunting.
These darts can stick into thick wood trees all sorts of shit.
Ive killed alot of ducks but the hard thing is most of the time when you hoot a duck it just flies away
and it does get frustrating i shot a duck clean through the neck and it just walked off nd flew away .
I didnt care for the duck only that my blowdart
didnt come back!!!
But if u hit a duck in the wing sometimes the duck will be wounded and stay there so have a 2 by 4 handy to smash it over the head with.
Some people think its cruel but it puts them out of their misery.
Oct 02, 2008 6:21 pm - Good idea for quick easy darts ,but I think you’ll need longer ones to actually kill ducks. I haven’t been too successful duck hunting with my blowgun either :-(

hmm... you really just said here that your gun isnt strong enough to kill a duck, or even cripple it from walking away. You are a very cruel person, since you enjoy putting small animals in pain, 0* on your profile. For doing a "double think" 0* on all of your eggs.
