Alright, just to get things a little clear before i start this story... I’m Blake, and my friend in this story is Kyle. We were about 11 or 12 during this "adventure."

Kyle and I were messin around in this huge empty lot about across the street from his house (there’s a house built there now) and it had about a 3 ft tall field of grass or thin straw or somethin of that sort. We were playin Miliatary (hey, we were young and there’s an army surplus about half a mile away. :P ) and then we saw this abandoned house across a busy street. The house had a boarded up door and a oddly amusing "movie" style hole through the window next to the door. I swear the hole looked like a picture from a movie of a fake window shatter. When you looked in all you saw were rotted pieces of plywood, burned paper and thick red graffiti on the walls. We got his dog Ginger. She has a HUGE jaw, like a pit bull, and she’s a fearless, about 3ft tall, and FAT but muscular yellow lab. We crossed the street with his dog and we walked around this small house, which looked like a large SHACK, but it was a house and it was in front of this gnarled tree that had vines going up and grasped the roof of the house. It was pretty odd... Then all of a sudden an old, small black cat walked out of what seemed like nowhere and froze... looking at me in the eye with a dead look, and shifted it’s view to Ginger. Ginger noticed the cat and stood there motionless, with the hairs on her lower back standing and her leg muscles went extremely tense. The cat casually walked off and looked at all of us the whole time though and disappeared into a nearby bush. Ginger seemed to then suddenly relax and acted like the cat was never there and sniffed what she was sniffing before it came out. Kyle and I exchanged confused looks and then walked around to the old beat up garage. The door was closed and stuck so Kyle kicked it open. The garage was silent with a hole in the roof that only gave off a smidgen of light, not enough to see anything because the sun was low and facing the opposite way. Kyle gave me the leash and fearlessly walked into the garage and turned to look at me, then what sounded like a shelf fell from the other side of the garage and a small pipe, like a foot long and 1 inch in diameter or so flew past the back of his head and hit the doorway he stood at. He didn’t notice it and only heard it hit the ground so he picked it up and threw it back in, at the wall he was facing. We never heard it land or hit anything... We stood there for about a minute and waited, but nothing happened so we left and the door slid shut. We got too freaked out about the pipe flying past his head so we left the house and walked to the levi of the Sacramento River because it was only about 50 yards away.

I swear on my life this is true. Kyle and I remember it and we’re both frequent visitors to this site. I remember my face going cold and imagine it being white for the rest of that night. We got to break a few windows and old plates outside of the boarded up back door on the walls. Pretty fun and it’s a great adrenaline rush for me to go through abandoned houses, ready to run out.

You forgot to mention the part where you tell us that you’re lying.
