This is called the 5-minute flamethrower because the construction time is about that amount of time.The materials needed are almost definitely going to be in your garage at this moment, so you won’t have to go out and buy anything. Here is what you’ll need:
> 1 can of WD-40
> 1 small candle(1/3 cm diameter or smaller)
> the extension straw that came with the WD-40
(a plastic coffie stir straw also works)
> tape(duct tape is recommended)
> glue(optional)
Take the coffie stir straw or extension tube
and tape the candle to it so there is 1/4 inch of the candle sticking out beyond the tip of the straw.Make sure that there is no tape blocking the hole at the tip of the straw. Now, stick the non-candle end into the WD-40 nozzle.
Make sure that the candle tip is below the tip of the straw because flames go up and you wantthe WD-40 liquid to catch fire.If you want to, you can glue around where the straw meets the nozzle, for extra durability.

use: light the candle, and spray. The range is about
3-6 feet, but use it alone before with other people to get a sense of the flame. Be safe and careful,and be sure not to aim at wood, gas, etc. I hope you enjoy my invention, and use it carefully.

I’ve found that nail polish revover with rubbing alcohol works better with a larger and longer flame.

Thats some good ol’ fashioned fooling around. its not complicated. bring me back to when i was 9 years old. armed with a gas can and matches. i evenulaty figured out inventive stuff like this. Ill give it a 4. just caus its so simple yet fun. not simple anstupid likeothers iv seen.
