This is absolutely hilarious. This prank is much better to do with a payphone. It’s absolutely simple. Here are the instructions:
1.- Find a phone, any phone at all
2.- Pick up the reciever, listen for the dial tone, and dial 211.
3.- (You’ll hear beeping) Hang Up.

RESULTS: this does is, it makes the phone line go dead for an approximate 3 minutes. There’s nothing you can do to make it work. But 3 mins later, it will return to normal. The absolute best thing about this prank, is that if you press 211 on a payphone, and someone puts money in it, they CANNOT get the money back!

This prank is best used in random malls, or at schools. Remember, I live in Canada, so am unsure if this works in the U.S. but try it anyway

i dont know where u live but in aus u can pick up the pay phone hold hash and on the screen it says it is out of ouder put a small rock on the shelve where the phone hangs then put bak phone ppl c it and hav 2 travel a block or 2 2 use another
