WHAT YOU NEED:

ROMAN CANDLES (amount depends on how long you want to play)
TWO OR MORE TUBES (PIPES CUT TO LENGTHS LONG ENOUGH TO HOLD ROMAN CANDLES)SHOULD BE NARROW ENOUGH JUST SO CANDLE FITS IN (THE BETTER THE FIT THE MORE ACCURATE IT WILL BE)
TWO OR MORE TARGETS
TWO OR MORE PLAYERS
NOTE: THE AMOUNTS OF CANDLES, TARGETS AND TUBES YOU NEED DEPENDS ON HOW MANY TEAMS YOU HAVE OR PLAYERS WILL BE TAKEING TURNS

WHAT you do is this , go to a spot where you have plenty of room seperate into two teams, place targets at selected points light roman candle, drop in tube, place on ground and hold at angle so that fire balls will shoot out n up slightly just like a real mortar the object is to try to hit the bulls eye in the target as many times as you can out of the shots per candle . great game, loads of fun can be played various ways, try devideing into two teams and make a "fort" area, and everyone takes a turn trying to take out the other teams target(s) or flags. be creative invent new war games or contests **NOTE** POINTING ROMAN CANDLE RIGHT AT TARGETS IS CHEATING, THE OBJECT OF THIS IS TO BE MORE LIKE A MILITARY STYLE MORTAR GAME

just hold tha candle, or if u want a real mortar put it in backwards
