real simple little thing i discovered while bored at work. it wont cause some big pyrotechnic event or anything, but it might work to startle someone.
bas you take a can of the spray air (used for dusting equipment and all), and an empty soda bottle (plastic, unless u want to injure someone), and u turn the spray air upside down and spray the liquid into the bottle. the liquid is very cold, and can cause frostbite with prolonged exposure to the skin. after a good amount of liquid is squirted into the bottle, screw on the soda cap, and find a heat source. even the warmth from your hand will work, but a blow drier or something like that would be better. heat the liquid in the bottle, causing it to change into a gas, and pressurize the bottle. after its good and pressurized (u can gently squeeze the bottle and feel how much it gives), simply lob it at a hard surface, and it will explode. if the cap hits first, it might send the bottle flying without exploding, but if the bottle hits first, it will usually fragment into two or more pieces with a loud pop. depending on what bottle you use, there is a chance that it might not bust on the first throw. u really have to chuck it hard if it is thick plastic. i found that 1 liter water bottles worked well since they are thinner walled. not sure if this is worth the write up, but i have fun doing it.
