This is the best kind: completely untracable, legal, and extremely cruel. It works best on good little teenagers living with strict parents: Late at night, call the victims home and wait for a parent to answer. When one does, say this: "Uh, is [the victim’s name] home? I mean, she/he was supposed to buy me a bag of pot/coke and I gave her/him the money, but they didn’t call me back."
Usua you will hear a scream from the parent and the phone will go dead. Then laugh because you know they are waking up their kid and yelling their head off at them.
I did this to a girl in Community College who was sixteen and refused to pay me for a typing job I did. Her mother answered the phone, screeched, dropped the phone and I could hear her in the backgroud screaming at her daughter until I hung up. Needless to say, that girl got pulled out of College and sent back to highschool where she wouldn’t be corrupted (like that makes a difference today. this is the kind of prank WE OLDSTERS did to each other back in the day).
