There are several fairly easy things to do to a roommates computer that will keep him or her occupied for a while.

First, if they use internet explorer, you can unhook their internet connection, and open internet explorer. Obviously, you will get the "No Page can be displayed" page. Next, goto tools, internet options, and then click "Use current" under homepage. Everytime they open IE, they will get the "No Page." page.


Second, if you can obtain a program which will do "Screenshots" take a screenshot of the computers desktop, then remove all the desktop icons, move the recycle bin off the screen (it can’t be deleted), and then set the background as the screenshot. They will forever click on the icons, but to no avail.

You can also press that button prt scr/sysrq which takes a screen shot(its on the top right of the keyboard, at least on mine), some older versions of windows won’t work, and some keyboard might not have it
