Hey RE, this is my first Egg but please con’t hold back on me. Constructive criticism is welcome!

A guns
Pistols- pistols shoot medium range and are usualy back up weapons. It is helpful to keep a pistol on your belt incase your main weapon jams or runs out of bbs.
Automatic- One of the most useful gun in airsoft. These are good for suppressing fire, and are great for medium to short range. The biggest advantage to having and automatic gun is that they fire 10x faster than any manual style gun.These are great for closed area combat
Pump action shotgun- shotguns are longer and more economical than pistols and are usualy higher powered. Shotguns are good for flanking and semi- long range.
Snipers- Snipers are similar to shotguns but with higer power. Though in theory they sound very fun to use in battles, they are often useless unless you like to miss 3/4 of your shots due to small winds.
B clothing
When airsofting you should try to dress to the same colors as your sorroundings, try not to stick out.
use Camo for woods, and green or black for urban, and black for night games. Also for woods games use a gillie suit. Gillie suits are the clothing that has pieces of shrubbery attached to them. Remember to wear safety glasses or a paintball masks for obviouse reasons.
C extras
Remember to bring extra bbs, gas containers , bb grenades, and your backup weapons to battles. you can never predict how a game will go so always be prepared, never under equip yourself.
D Basics
The basic idea of airsoft it to eliminate other players by shooting them. It is often played on the honor system so make sure to be honest when you are hit or people wont want to play with you.
E types of games
Woodsball- an airsoft match played in a forest setting.
Urban- playing in someones yard( for the kiddies) or in and abandoned warehouse.
Hostage- One team is the terrorists, ones are the counter terrorist. The terrorist must hold the hostages (any item or person) from the cts, the cts must get the hostages to their base any way possible. They can kill all terrorists or sneak them to their base.
F hand signals
Hand signals are very important in airsoft. here are some basics.
Wait here- Open palm
Go there- 2 finger karate chop in direction\\
I need ammo- hold one finger up
I need gas- hold 2 fingers up
Enemy spotted- point gun with one hand
Roger that- thumbs up
negative- thumbs down
repeat that- 2 fingers pressed to ear
G maneuvers
Ambush- all out rush to enemy location
Flank- Moving along the boundaries to the back of the field. Then attacking enemies from behind .
trap- Waiting in a concealed place for enemys to walk by.
Oct 04, 2009 4:57 pm - I have people like you in my school who actually take air soft seriously, its a pretty lame sport and only fun to do if your fucking around. But you have cool guns that look real. Besides why don’t you get to the main point aim and pull the trigger at people. 3*

Oct 04, 2009 8:47 pm - You actually shoot other people with plastic BBs? That seems dangerous. How do you know when you have a hit? Do they bleed? Stick to paintball.
I have a cheapie handgun airsoft which is modelled after a 1411. I shot a bunny in the ass with a pellet and it just gave me a dirty look. I shot my spouse in the ass and was almost stuffed in a drawer. o.O Moral of the story: Rabbits are tough.
Oct 05, 2009 4:20 am - the pros of playing airsoft- extremely cheap ammo ,not nearly as painful as paintball, not as messy,more realistic looking guns, more realistic battles.
cons- you cant always tell when your hit. you get shot in the eyes alot for some reason
