Ok first I saw an egg already on the topic halo 3 the egg was an old beginner guide, in this egg I will show you some newer shit on halo 3.(this is not a beginner guide, but I will try to explain as much as possible.)

1. Weapons (tip for all weapons, “meleeing” kills your target faster.)
a. assault rifle (NEWB WEP)
This is the weapon of mass noobstruction! First there is a time to use every weapon. The assault rifle or “AR” is a close range weapon (obvious), so when to use an AR? You want to use this weapon in ANY close range map or in ANY close range situation. This is a noobish weapon, but only if over used lets hear that again maybe you should say it out loud, !.::OVER USED::.! Ok so knowing that you won’t !.::OVER USE::.! I will continue. While using the assault rifle you must always aim right under the head, you aim under the head because it is more of a target than a head. If you aim at the head you WILL miss at least a few shots if not all. If you aim at the neck/chest area you will land more shots, hence killing your target faster.
b. battle rifle (MLG TASTIC)
This is my personal favorite, this weapon, if used right can kill effectively in 3 shots. (I usually get paid for telling losers how.) first off I will tell you how to “4 shot” this is way easier than achieving a “3 shot”. So to 4 shot you shoot 3 bursts of the “BR” into the chest and one burst into the head.(if you don’t get the “burst” comment the BR shoots 3 “bullets”(lol) at a time.) Ok now to the 3 shot. This is fairly simple but extremely hard to do, IT IS ALL LUCK! Ok all you do is fire off three bursts right between the head and the shoulder. (You should first find the spot in a custom game.) Now there are a few reasons why this is so hard.
1. The spot may look big but actually you have to hit in an exact spot on the shoulder/head. This spot is tiny!
2. When ever you shoot the BR your screen shows a little “kick” it will bring your screen up and to the right.( this is hard to see in the heat of the game.)
3. this is a game and like all online glitches there is a catch, for this to work you have to have host.
4. also this doesn’t work all the time every time, even if you have every thing in place this is a “glitch” after all not some crummy hiding spot.(HLG PUSSIES) =] a glitch is not supposed to happen it is a fluke a mistake a problem that may be fixed (I doubt it) it will not work with you but if you just keep hitting that spot eventually you will hit the mark every thing will fall into place and some one will be screaming “ WTF MODDER!”
c. Explosive weapons (rocket launcher, brute shot, etc.)
meh, not much to say
• Always shoot at the feet of the target.
• Understand, this shit can kill both you and your target.
• Close ish medium range.
• In some cases can be used to enhance your jump.
• Most cases noobish
d. sniper (how to get head like me!)
2 types of shooters: body shooter and the few who get head.
This is my second favorite weapon in halo 3.
The sniper is defiantly a long range weapon but can still be used at ANY range. Obviously, aim for the head, if you don’t hit the head that’s fine now there is no need to aim for the head again but you can if you want to, other wise just aim for the chest/back. Now you can always just go for 2 body shots but this takes longer and it alerts the target, if you go for the head the first shot there is no warning, only a screen with the spawn time.
There is no no-scope. The scope is always there even if you don’t think it. You see the little dot and use it yes? Well that is going to be your scope for your “no-scope”. Now that we have that cleared up, a few more “no-scope but really scope” tricks(lol) for beginners I would suggest when using a sniper that you turn your “auto look centering” on this gets you used to keeping your sniper on the head of your target. After a while you can test your reflexes by “block shooting” this is when you know somebody is coming through a door at any second, aim the crosshair right where there head will appear and when the person comes through just shoot and pow “head shot!” if you hold your crouch while jumping you will get more “air time”. I don’t know how this helps but it seems to increase the amount of head shots I get. Lastly it helps if you don’t turn your screen but merely walk side to side; if your screen is set to aim for the head you should hit your mark. (Now I have to say this because every body I teach doesn’t seem to get that if there is somebody to your side or behind you, you have to turn your screen to actually shoot them! Lol)
2. the strafe
Strafing is moving side to side in attempt to throw off your opponents aim.
Ok now, a little FAQ: how fast should I go? The closer your opponents are the faster your strafe should be. Let me put it this way, if your opponent is far away you can take a nice slow long strafe.(move to your side for about 5 steps (give or take) then move back about 5 steps, if your opponent is close to medium range then your strafe should be half a step each direction, you do this by fastly moving the joystick left and right.(make sure you aren’t going to fast otherwise your screwed, also make sure you “mod” your strafe according to range.(I should of added the ninja in here) =/
3. callouts
ok a call out is a phrase or word that summarizes everything that is going on from your point of view. EX.) 1 shot S3, sniper at blue window. I just told my team where some one was one shot from being dead and where there was an enemy sniper on the map. I would tell you some of the call outs for a few maps but I do not have my camera =[

4. Maps/how to start
Well this will be short and sweet, go for: custom power ups, power weapons, try to sneak behind enemy(s) (should wait for callout, to know where the enemy is.), Guard, help a team mate.
5. How to boost ( can get you banned!)(need to be good)
First for you stupid people that think you (yourself) go up faster by being negative you are wrong. You will go up at the same rate as always. Second for everybody that doesn’t know what boosting is, boosting is a way to make your boosted partner go up faster.
To boost in halo 3 you need a booster account, in other words bring out the cash! =]
Now you need to lose a few games, the more you lose the better, if you quit out of a match you may get banned, you will also get banned if you’re a dick to your team, “why does this matter?”, if you’re a dick to your team in every match the odds are they will file a complaint, enough complaints and you WILL get banned there is no question about it. Next you need a partner to boost. ( if you want to make any money doing this then tell dat newb to pay!) Ok there is a way to boost in lone wolfs, this IS fairly OLD and there was a rumor that they fixed it, this is false, I know this because 1 bungie never fix shit and 2 I tried it. This will also work for any other game type. So first all you have to do is go to your settings and change your language, (write down how to do this as you change the setting). Go back to play halo 3, change the game type(the thing with: good connection, faster, my language, etc) to my language.(Should already be in a party with the others, sorry forgot to mention that.) now count down as a group and hit start at the same time, now you have a good chance of getting each other, though it is not 100% perfect it is way easier then getting each other with say, English as your language setting.
6. how to rank up fast
there is no way, to go up to a fifty in your first week (unless boosted). So I will tell you what to do to get good and eventually give you the ability to go up fast. First play a ton of “MLG” games in “matchmaking” until you reach at least a level 40. Now go and get a new account and play either lone wolfs, team slayer, or again mlg.(go ahead and try to prove me wrong and play team slayer to 40 and try to do the same thing. =] you will just be wasting your money.
