Abandoned missle silos may be in your back yard

We all like adbandoned structures but I think you will like these. In the cold war missle silos were built all over america. They were placed in neiborhoods, forests, and yes, your back yard. If you look hard enough you may find one you can enter. These silos can be identified by a metal door in the mddle of nowere. When entering, be shure to light up the bunker. Some bunkers may be flooded. If the bunker is dry you can make it a great hideout. First clean any garbage in the bunker. If possible use penatrating oil on the missle door to make it operate again. Now if the hydraulic jack already installed is messed up cut it out and mount a hand jack so you can manualy open the missle doors. This can be handy for putting furnature in the silo. Now you have to protect your bunker. First beef up the lock on the entrance to the door. For extra protection weld two more brackets for two more locks. Now add a sighn that says tresspassers will be persicuted by law. This will deter any smart jackass that doesn’t want to get a federal offence. Don’t worry about the missle door. It will way about 600 lbs at least for each part of the door. And the only way to open it is to torch it open. Good luck for any poor sap that tries to use a torch on 5 inches if steel!
Now the practical use of the bunker. The law will not think to look for drugs and explosives in a bunker. And even if they did they aren’t going to get through three locks. Well not very fast. Bunkers also may have a escape route exiting a few hundred yards away. So if the law is attempting to open your bunker and get in you have a escape route.
Oh yeah and make shure each door has outside locks and inside locks. When your in it you have to have the inside locks locked. Not The OUTSIDE!!!

yeah.. seeing how the missle silos are air tight and the door weighs hundreds of pounds...umm.. 1) the jack to open the door could break or 2) you would suffacate

he’s talkin’ about growin’ pot or whatever in their, so the cops can’t get in, or it would take forever if they tried while you escaped through the backdoor...dude, any person in the military or police can get acces to the layout if their is suspicion of illegal activity... anywho, it’s sounds fun to explore, i got a few in eastern washington i wanna check out, see if anyone forgot a nuclear warhead or something...lol 4*
