BACKUP PURPOSES ONLY
If you do not own the DVD movie you must delete it within 24 hrs.
Ok in order to burn any DVD movie you will need - a DVD burner
- DVD-R or DVD+R blank disk
- a DVD authoring tool such as NERO (must support DVD’s)
- DVD shrink [www.dvdshrink.org]
- spare space on your HD (about 8-10gb)
Once you have download DVD shrink insert the DVD you would like a backup. Select open disk, then select your DVD drive, this may take a while , once the DVD has been opened, select back-up disk (this will take a while) then select a folder on your HD eg: My DVD’s then make another folder inside with the name of the DVD you are coping. When complete DVD shrink will say to insert a blank disk DO NOT, Just exit the program and remove the DVD. Now open up NERO ( I only know how to do it in this one).Ok, Select your DVD drive then select DVD-video Files. Now select VIDEO_TS then click ADD. Find the destination of your folder holding the DVD files open the folder and click on VIDEO_TS , right-click select all. Then copy and paste all the the files into the other VIDEO_TS folder. Click next, insert a blank DVD disk select the burning speed then FINALLY CLICK BURN.
Jan 27, 2005 4:05 pm - much easier way just get an external dvd burner. it’s like $30 more expensive, but you don’t have to lose time and quality putting the movie on your hard drive, it is portable, and you can hook it up to a laptop.
