This is great for begginers, but you should always use the real stuff when you can.
Of course if you want, you can always wait till the forth of July and spend lots of money on sparklers and make weak ass bombs, or you can read this and have access to black powder year round. All you need is to find a store that sells model rockets and rocket engines. If you want them for cheap just steal them, thats what I do. Or you can buy them, Make sure you always get the D-engines or else its a waste of time cause you dont get very much powder. Once you get ahold of them put them in a bag or something and sma#*@!, dont worry it wont xplod, I’m a pro at this stuff. The white powder in them is softer and will break up easier, throw that stuff away, its useless. Make sure that when you are crushing the powder it is really fine, like dust or else it wont be as powerfull.
Dec 23, 2004 9:49 pm - What moto says is true. It is a whole lot easier and cheaper to just buy some black powder at wal mart. Rocket engines are close to black powder, but not as strong.
Jan 24, 2006 6:54 pm - you’re all wrong. It isn’t black powder but rocket fuel. it’s black, and a powder(if you grind it) but it is real weak and has impurities like magnesium and crap. If you add KNO3 (I’ve been writing this alot) you get similar to BP but it still doesn’t "explode" but burn faster.
Feb 12, 2006 9:29 am - This is soo anoyin all you americans can just wander into a shop n buy black powder,fireworks,m80s,but in england it sucks you cant buy n e thing to do with pyrotechnics! its soo lame and we cant buy stuff from places like united nuclear n stuff all thnaks to tony fukin blair!!!! and they said they might ban fireworks next year how gay is that!
