Compact discs are designed for the high stresses involved when they are spun, but you can easily make them fail in the drive, which can potentaly distroy the inside of the computer and can cause shrapnel to shoot through the front of the computer. On the discovery channel, a show called Myth Busters proved these fragments can inbed themselfs in a person up to 2 inches. Now take the cd and mount it into something that spins, not take anything sharp and press gently on the cd untill a thin line cuts through the reflective surface. When it has cut almost all the way through, repeat this three times, from the outside in. And also you are cutting from the label down. There is a chance that the cd will not fail. So make multaple disks. And add a extra label to cover up the line so there is a less of a chance your victim will discover the damaged disk.
Have fun making a jackass fucker pay!

First of all, if no one knows where you’re getting it, don’t tell them. Secondly, they were spinning the discs up at speeds at least 3x faster than a 52x drive. Thirdly, they showed that the metal casing around the drive will mostly stop the fragments; the metal case and anything directly next to it will be deformed past usefulness. This will most likely not destroy the whole computer. Most likely the person would just have to buy a new CD/DVD drive. I give you a 0.

I saw that episode. When they did the test, they just attached the CD to what looked like a power grinder. The CD just got fragments onto the dumby and a FEW large pieces. If this could go through a metal case, there is a high chance that it would just kill your victim.

put little circles of sand paper all over the bottom and them drill very slightly into them, fill hole with gun powder and very sigtly gule paper circles slightly smaller than the sandpaper circles to the sandpaper and cover the powder. cd drive automaticly spin when a comp starts, this wornt hurt anybody but itl ruin the inside of there comp and scare the shit out of them

Just a week ago one of my friend’s cd drive was trashed by an exploding cd, that was brand new. He discovered that a small crack in the disc caused it to fail. Cds can explode in drives.
