proper shifting point/proper rev.
shifting in a proper rev.is so important.
it dozent mean if your car can go up to 100km in 1stgear 140km in 2ndgear and so on it and reving high like up to 8000 or even 1000 dozent mean your faster in the 1/4mile...
some say always focus at the tachometer its true but how will you know if you are in the right rev.to shift??? "that a big question you will not just came out of "ok 7500 is my proper shifting point my question is why?
i will explane to you every thing
how will i know if my car is in the right rev.?
you cant just seat thei and say its on 6000 or 7000
to get the right rev.you wave to make a free run and fucus at two things the tachometer and the speedometer why bec you will experemen the proper rev.the speedometer rod will begin slower and slower and it will not move utill you shift.
dont sift it and whait untill it stop and shift but dont forget at the temperature
why did i have to what till its stop?
you are not in the race yet you are just knowing the proper rev.when its stop check how high is your rev. do this untill you are in the 5 or 6 gear. now you know in what speed do you have when your speedometer stop in that gear and what rev it is now like what i say the speedometer rod will become slower and slower when it become slower your shifting point is their but it dozent mean like it start to slow then you are about to shift no. wait until its in the midle of it like "it start to slow slower and slower stop"the midle is slower"
ex.1
start to slow at 50
slow at 70
and slower at 80
stop at 100
so your shifting point is around 75
you know what i mean bec its hard for me to explain to you this by a rithen form but its easyer in actual...
make this experiment until you are in your last gear
now you know what is you speed at the perfect shifting point
now you nead to marked it on your speedometer.do this until the last shifting gear
now on the next run marked the proper rev. when it hits the proper speed and marked your tachometer w/a marker.
if you had a programable tachometer w/shifting light.
now you need to set your tachometer in the right shifting point to set the shifting light.
if you dont have.
marked w/dif color like red when i nead to shift at 2nd gear and green for 3rd and so on.
if you alredy set your programable tachometer when it reach the shifting point the shifting light will light.
the proper shifting rev.are not same w/2nd 3rd 4th gear or if your car had 6th gear its up to 5th shifting gear
every shifting rev. is diferent
the proper rev. to shift for most of the car is around the red line or before it or in it.... but you need to experiment and know it...
how to shift when you are in the shifting point shift it realy fast but...
dont pump the gas or the cluch just step on the cluch relise the gas shift all in the same fast time.
