i as a experienced guitarist would like to help other guitarists or people who would like to learn.so heres a short outline on guitar
1 maintanance
2 tuneing
3 setup
4 speed
5 songs
1 one thing every guitar owner shoud defernatly have is a case and/or stand the ones made of fabric do no protcetion from force (one of my guitars snapped when my mum stepped on the cover) and a stand because if u lean it aginst a wall it bends the guitar out of shape then the tuning goes all out and is never the same. cleaning. i clean my guitar once a fortnight which is reccommened .
2 i use an electic tuner because they r more precice then ear. more expericed guitarist can use tuning forks (usually tuned to A), tuning whistle and real musos can use say a piano or bass guitar
and other instruments.
3 when first buying a guitar try to get lower gauge strings because higer gauge are thicker and harder on fingers . also when u r buying start off small such as amps and leads because those are things u can upgrade with out to much of change. if in a band i advise getting a 15ft lead at the smallest and and as far as amps go 750watts for a band member.
4 most pro guitarist will say the key to speed is to practice slow with no errors cause u dont wanna get in to bad habbits. when u hav conquered the song slowly build up pace till its in time
5 it is best off u start learning songs with just simple chords and then little riffs and shit then u have done this focus on say one solo and just practice it then other stuff will come a lot easier..

Mar 06, 2005 9:32 pm - I JUST GOT A MARSHAL MG30 AMP AND IT IS FUCKIN AWESOME!! i also used to have a gibson x-plorer but it was wayyyy to heavy so i had to exchange it, and now i have a jackson - WRMG warrior and its cool too
May 31, 2005 2:05 am - The gibson sg pic you got up at the top i have it ( custom made) its soo kool but its in a red orange colour !! p.s i think its best to practice so fast it aint funny then when u come to a gig its so easy cause u can play it slower !!!
