Materials:
Pipe (pvc works fine, and it needs to be wide enough so an aerosal can can slide through)
Cement (or anything that can block one end of the pipe)
Aerosal cans (DW-40 works awsome, but anything that says warning -flammable will do nicely:)
Rockets (preferable)
How to make:
Get a length of pipe, u can judge how long, that can easily fit an earosal can inside. Block one end of the pipe with preferably cement. Drill a hole farther up the pipe. prop it up against some rocks or cinder blocks so it is a a 45 degree angle (you can make urself a wooden base if u want) pour gasoline or alchohal+oxidizer dwn the tube. Then slip in the Aerosal can, the spout of the can pointing downward. You can ductape rockets around the can (makes the launch look allot cooler too!:) Then slip a wick in the hole that u have drilled at the base of the pipe. Light the wick and run the @#?! away. When the gasoline ignites and all goes well, the aerosal can will shoot up with a hollow WOOSH sound with flames spitting out the pipe. It looks awsome!
Jan 26, 2005 1:46 pm - also... o, i forgot to add that when the aerosal can shoots out it sometimes blowws up in midair with is awsome, or blows up when it hits the ground again like real artillary, o, and wrapping the can with oiled rags (any kind of cooking oil works) will increase the chances of this happening

Jan 26, 2005 5:04 pm - it will work because i’ve built one and it really fires off aerosal cans, u need to make sure that the can fits the tubbe good, a reall close fit. It does work!!!!!!!!!
Jan 26, 2005 8:36 pm - I posted an idea similar to this on an egg comment but I had some kind of metal tube with one end in a campfire and you drop the cans nozzle down onto hot embers and that launches em.

I thought this is easy so ive tried it than i threw in Potassium permanganate in with the gasolin. Fit in a butane can in. fits perfectly...lit the fuse..got the gasoline on fire
...THAN THAN THE MOST EXCITING PART....
The can wiggled a bit....than just when I thought its time to go back and take the can out..the Can blew up inside the pvc pipe.. the pipe flew into pieces..the cement blew out the other side..and ya
