on one cold november morning i decided to go ride my bike to this abandoned textile factory that was on my town boarder. It is a real cool place, and to get to it you must ride down this causeway between a pond. The causeway is lined with reeds, tall grass and small poplars. tHere are no fences or anything that block you from getting in. I had tied my scateboard to the handlebars of my bike, because inside this factory it is a scater’s paradise: rails, ramps and all kinds of cool stuff to grind off@! I rode my bike into this big hanger like building with snooth concreet floors and rode my nbike up ramps and built a cool jump out of a brocken cart. I scate boarded a bit doing this awsome grind offf a rail. I then laid down my bike and board to explore more of the complex. There was an off ice room with a bunch off old office materials (i stuffed my pocckets full of pencils stamps and other cool things) i smashed the chairs and desks with a rusted pipe, smashed cabinets etc. Then i went to what was probably the supply room. It had all these gears and chains in all these musty boxes. I pushed over a shelf and all the contents slammed on the floor in a defening cresendo. i smashed open the window with my pipe and threw gears at the structures and @#?! below. I ran outside agian. There were some old pushcart things about. i found one that worked and jumped on and rolled down a paved hill and stopped in the field in back of the factory. I walked back to where some other pushcarts were and loaded another with rusted bits of machinery etc. There was this shaft with ice in the botom. I pushed the cart toward the shaft and then it fell in. Aw man that was soo soo, it sent all this dust up into the air and shattered the ice. I walked to this partially submerged biulding near the pond and smashed the icicled that clung to rust pipes. I found an old fire extinguisher and threw that into the shaft as well. Then i made my way to the headquarters or office building. I kiked down the door and went inside. TAher was a ripped couch and smashed tv in one room. I went out and threw clumps of ashault at more windows and went back to my bike. Next time i’ll bring some friends and take some pictures to post. Vandalizing abandoned factory is the perfect way to spend ur saturday!:) |

Look for an abandoned textile factory near you; even in Mexico, these factories are closing as new ones open in Chinese prisons. |

 | Jan 26, 2005 6:59 pm - man im so jealous. the only cool place we have to explore is waverly hills abandoned hospital. guards watch over it and stuff and chased us out. and there isn’t really anything left to steal or break.
the story is pretty good though. check my egg on it.

 | J n 27, 2005 1:49 pm - :) Thanx 4 the good reviews. If u cant find an abandoned factory near u u shoul search it online, there are some sites that tell about where to find good sites |

 | Jan 27, 2005 3:07 pm - Yeah, lucky. Only place I have to explore is an abandoned oil well. |

 | Jan 29, 2005 8:56 am - ehh..pretty cool, it needs pics...so....4
i have egg on Rosewood, a old asylum in my area |

 | Jul 08, 2005 1:03 pm - youre an idiot i never understood this fascination stupid people have with smashing things for no reason. i’m sure you have no appreciation for such things, but that textile factory is probably an important part of your town’s history and should be preserved so that other explorers (retards like you included)can appreciate it later.
To all you dumb-ass taggers/vandals/general smashers of shit, have some friggin respect! |

 | Jul 08, 2005 1:28 pm - Vandalizing Tartar’s house is a great way to spend a Saturday.
Drop me a line when you head out there with your friends. My buddy Mr. lead pipe wants to meet some 13 year old vandals. Bring some of your "Uber l33t" homemade explosives too, I have an idea on how to test them. |

 | Jul 08, 2005 3:13 pm - We’ve been looking for you kids for a while now, real smart admitting your crimes on a website. Due to ongoing vandalism and arson attempts at CTS properties, Lt. Jackson at IPD CIS has launched an investigation on our behalf and has gathered several "IP Addresses" of suspects in this case. Vacant property does not mean it is yours to play with, these mills are still privately owned and contain valuable property as well as dangerous materials. Vandalism and theft will not be toleratred.
-Robert Stephens, CTS Textiles. |

 | Jul 09, 2005 4:37 pm - I agree with the guy from CSC textiles; while I might choose to walk all over this old property, photograph it , breaking things is unheard of .
I’m the intrepid person that wants to see historical buildings ;
But to go in them to smash things? Even if you have no ethics at all, can’t you see that the result of this is either the building is sealed like a drum or b) it loses its value as a site worth visiting.
If you ever come up to Upstate NY to do this, we will deal with you in our own special way;
Rest assurered, rep from CTS, this does not represent the usual historical explorer; these people are dealt with, usually by reporting to the authorities, OR a thourough ass beating.
Unreal |

 | Jul 09, 2005 10:30 pm - Have fun! Those photographs were stolen... Not only are you some teenager punk who has no respect for property, but you are some idiot who is probably going to hide behind his parents when the authorities come knocking at your doorstep soon. It’s nice that you post very detailed accounts on the internet... good to give away to the authorities. |
| Jul 28, 2005 8:23 am - Wow I love all these people thinking that this is incriminating evidence. Unless you’ve given out you name and address, etc. they really can’t do shit. |

 | Jul 28, 2005 12:13 pm - Fuck you- as if i take this seriously |

 | Aug 14, 2005 12:40 am - hACKSSZZZZ |

 | Aug 21, 2005 9:19 am - ur a fuckin fag tarter 0* |

 | Aug 21, 2005 8:02 pm - Favorite Books: Howard Bloom - Global Brain: The Evolution of Mass Mind from the Big Bang to the 21st Century. "- The Lucifer Principle: A Scientific Expedition into the Forces of History These books will change the way you see the world. Everything comes together
What the fuck, why is everyone commenting on this old egg and pranking it? |
| Aug 26, 2005 6:59 pm - WOW, another 5!! You ROCK with words dude!! |

 | Sep 10, 2005 12:28 am - Why do you stupid little cocksuckers go around and smash everything? You fuck it up for everybody else you little bastard. Your a fucking retard. |

 | Oct 22, 2005 7:05 pm - why the hell are you ppl dissin’ this guy ’bout smashin’ a bunch of crap! u retards dont belong on this site! |

 | Nov 02, 2005 8:59 am - Cool egg. My dad used to work at a textile that closed, he works knitting now. Anyway, yeah... a lot of the jobs are going overseas. A few remain open, because of quality (not to sound racist, but these plants in Mexico and China can’t match the quality some companies need) |

 | Nov 17, 2005 10:44 am - Nice story dude!!! The place we explored has been knocked down now :( 4**** |

 | Dec 28, 2005 2:29 pm - holy shit lol, that last post of mine was written by my dad |
