There is a hill afew towns away from where i live called diamond hill, due to it’s rich quartz deposits. And it is a wicked good place to bike to during the weekend. It is covered with mainly birch and poplars and is extreamy rocky so i always where my blue timby boots to climb it. In like the 70s or something it was once a ski place, so there are now relics such as rusted gondolas and huge concrette structures covered in graphitti. Well anyway, i locked my bike up to a fence and walked to the hill. I ascended up the straight roccky trail that is like at a 30-45 degree incline, in some places 60. I came to a spot where there was this huge boulder next to the trail, i wedged a branch under it and pushed dowm. I dislodged the boulder and sent it rumblind down the hill, crushing rocks, and small trees in its path. Lol, i hope some gringo-backpacker didn’t get creamed. That was awsome:) Then i continued up, passing the old poles with rusted bolts in them, that used to support the ski gondolas. They looked like crusafixes against the cloudy sky. When i got to a plateau like area, or a ledge i looked up at the rockface above me with scraggly poplars clinging to little crevices in the rock. It was covered in graphitti: a huge bud, with was in neon green and really trippy, a huge batman sighn, american flaggs, and a huge mural of a naked lady sucking a dick wich read: EAT ME KATELYN! spraypainted in neon pink on the rock. Lol, not the bad as well. All these hudge rocks and boulders was like something out of lord of the rings, it almost felt as if at any moment i’d be ambushed by visigoth warriors {"western goths" a barbarian tribe that plauged the declining roman empire and late settled in northern spain in the dark ages} After this short rest i continued my treck to the top. When i got to a certian area all the trees were black and burned, probably some stoner left his bong in the grass. I got to another concrete block, and climbed a tree that was growing ajacent to it to get on top. From there i could see the green rolling hills under the cloudy sky, and the pond at the bottom of the hill. Then i made it to the top. There is a huge water tower on top, because there is a resivior nearby, that was blue as azure. I climbed over the barbed wire fenc3 surrounding it to get neared to the huge tank. That was covered in graphitii as well. in Getting back over the fence i ripped my hoodie. I hanged around a bit and then decided to desend a different rought. In going down a rocky trail that zig zagged gradually doward i noticed a dark traingle against the rock. Sweet! a cave. I ran in and lit my lighter so i could see the inside. The dim light cause the stalactites to sparkle, and revealed tons of crystals, white and purple. I went back out and smashed some off as a souveneer. Then i burned my name onto the wall and the date. When i got to my bike i found a cool metal camel lighter, the old kind that u flip open. Then i went to a convienance stoor and refreshed myself with a much needed mountain dew. -NOTE- i went back there a bit later with a friend and his brother when there was snow on the ground. The sledding and snowboarding was awsome, kids had biuld tons off jumps, there was even a jump near a picnic table that u could grind off. IA snowboarded down the steep trail that i had ascended at breakneck speed, flying by snow covered trees. I plan to go there again when the snow melts and then i’ll take some pictures to post on a new egg.

Jan 28, 2005 9:22 am - no, the crysatals werent woth anything, they were just quartz, but they look pretty cool. I couldn’t take them all u retard, cause i was riding my bike home. This cave thing does excist an next time i’ll take a pic of the crysatal cave!
