A few years ago, putting in a modchip required soldering 20 or more teeny points to ur PS2’s board without fucking up once, which took more skill than pretty much anyone had. Now, you don’t even have to add a chip of any kind, thanks to the boot disk.
Insstructions:
1. Buy the swap magic disk set from someplace on the internet. This should cost about $20, but its the best $20 you’ll ever spend.
2. Buy a replacment case (not just a replacment version of the same case, but one with a manual, flip-top door)
for the PS2.
3. Take apart ur old case, save the warranty sticker.
4. Touch something made of metal, then take the hardware of the PS2 out of the old case case and put it into the new one.
5. Now all you have to do is pop in the correct boot disk, swap it for the game then press x.
6. If you want to, you can color the little things on the warranty sticker that say VOID in with a black marker (color the STICKY side), then u can make it look like u never opened it in case u fuck up. |

I Have modded my ps2, with a no solder chip (basically an electrionic version of what the case does 4u), but the whole case thing seems easier especially 4 N00Bs. But fuck you, I do know what the fuck Im doing. Ill explain it in more detail if u seriously wana do it, but stop calling me a fucking poser |

i think its cool but i just got a new ps2 and i saved that money for 6 months bofore i could get one and im not about to go guttin it for some game that sucks ass when i could go buy a betta one for like 15 bucks your to eligible to fuck up your ps2 |

if u have a dvd burner and a blockbuster, u can get the exact same games you’d buy for $50 for $5. that’s the whole point. |
