So today something interesting happened. If you know, super heating a penny with a torch will melt a penny. So anyways, we did this today and held the flame at an angle to the penny. It started to melt but then exploded trowing liquid penny on all of us. Its pretty dangerous. I dont recomend anyone to do this. Ill try and get a picture of the remnants if i can.
May 07, 2005 12:33 am - it blowed the penny dident explode it was simple melted with @ cutting torch, when it was melted who ever was doing this hit the oxy.& it blowed the hot metal evary whear at @ high vlol,val,vali,"high speed"
May 07, 2005 11:27 pm - an oxy. acet. torch would blow a penny to beyond recongition, which you would know if you have ever seen a penny or a cutting torch.
Sep 24, 2005 10:59 pm - i take a metal trades class and ima try that shit...we have the oxy. acet. torches... we do random shit in there and dont ever get in trouble. try using a quarter to weld.
ul 07, 2007 9:56 pm - i did this once and i was holding the peny wit needlenose plyers so i didnt burn my hand and when the penny got really hot the penny split in half
