All right. I am disgusted at the little amount of good shit there is on the site. Most is just dumb. And all the "Plastic Explosives"? Just gunpowder and wax. This is actually real shit and it works. It is very dangerous, so don’t hold me responsible.
Things you need:
-Nitric Acid
-Sulfiric Acid
-Cotton
-Baking Soda
-Blue Litmus Paper, or an Electronic Acidity Tester
-Ice
-Thermometer
Procedure:
1. Wash the cotton in warm, soapy water. Let dry.
2. Mix the acids in equal amounts. Hold them in a glass container (acids eat metals) resting in a container of ice.
3. Put the cotton in the acid. Monitor the temperature (with the thermometer) very carefully. You want the temperature to stay about 20 degrees celsius. This will be reacting and producing lot’s of heat. If it starts to get upwards of 29 degrees celsius - DUMP IT AND RUN!
4. Once it is finished reacting, remove the cotton (not with your hands) and pour baking soda all over it. This is a base, and it will neutralize the acid.
5. Test the cotton with the Litmus paper. If it changes colour, repeat step 4.
There you go. You now have Nitro Cotton, a high explosive. It may be kinda hard to detonate, but a hot enough flame or a blasting cap should detonate it. I’m not responsible for you blow yourself up.

Feb 22, 2005 9:59 am - Some military cannons use this shit. A film canister of it will probably do about 50% more damage than an M-80 of equal size. As for where to get acids, Sulphiric is also known as battery acid. Get some at a auto supply store and concentrate it by heating it until white fumes are put off. Nitric - harder to get. Try a chemical supplier. Or just steal some from your school. They got lots and get more all the time.
Jun 15, 2005 1:34 pm - wow horrible recipe theres amuch easier ways out there. 1 slowly add KNO3 to sulfiric acid, while in an ice bath. 2 let the acid bath cool and add cotton. wait an hour, get all cotton out and pour sodium bicarb solution over it, dry.

and case u don’t know, its called "gun cotton" or "Nitrocellulose" .
Also, gun cotton is very flammable. they used to use it in siege gun shells (see WW1) until they replaced it with TNT.
