The government has set up an organisation codenamed, Maya, and they made it a "religion" or "cult". THINK! They say the world will end in 2012, just because the Mayan calender ends on December 21st 2012. BUT! DOES IT?! OR DOES THE GOVERNMENT BLOW UP THE WORLD, SAVING BUT A FEW HUNDRED THOUSAND PEOPLE?! DO THEY, PERHAPS, PLAN ON RESTARTING LIFE?!

The Mayan beliefs and religions are not the only things that people follow. There is the apocalypse, rapture that follow the christianic belief. NOT EVERYONE IS A CHRISTIAN. Atheists may say the end of the world will happen because an asteroid will hit the earth.

Stop trying to sound smart, stop trying to make people think they’re going to die in less than 10 years, regardless of health conditions or not. You arent going to do anything besides cause even more disorder because when the time comes, superstitious people are going to buy as much food and supplies as they can and then they will seclude themselves in a bunker that wont save them from the end of the world at all. They will stop at nothing to secure their own safety, even if it means killing someone to get the line at the grocery store going faster the day before new years.
Oct 29, 2005 5:16 pm - the mayans stopped recording their calender up to 2012 cuz they werent around long enough to do it (plus they couldnt count that high anyway) but the 2012 "polar shift" is just a theory by meteorologist and if it really is true then they’ll probably do something about it. but an ice age isnt really in the picture because the earth goes through 4 periods in order; really cold, really hot, cool and hot
we are currently in the cool period and probably are hundreds of millions of years away from another ice age

ther is another ’conspiracy’ though that the earth will be destroyed, AKA apocalypse AKA armageddon, in 2006, AKA this year, as it was found as a hidden code in the book ’the bible code’
May 17, 2006 8:02 pm - nothing much is going to happen if the magnetic field shifts. IT SHIFTS EVERY FEW HUNDRED YEARS ANYWAY. there is evidence that the nort agnetic pole was once sideways. even if the magnetic field stopped moving completly, which would mean the entire core stopped moving, the only change would be a few degrees increase in temperature and solar radiation.
